BC huh????

Unread post by KillWatch »

So I was looking for players on other RPG boards and got involved in a discussion on the merits of universal systems and got into it about Palladium pros and cons

Now I am just hoping that someone can clear some of this up, some rumors about palladium
-KS doesn't run palladium games at the open house
-Bill Coffin is POed at KS and apparently hates the way Palladium is run

He provided a quote from some one calling themselves Bill_Coffin but it was just so filled with vitriol I was wondering if this had anything to do with the Time of Treachery or whatever and or if this guy was just full of BS.

any clues?
The entire experiment may ultimately not work. But as Tiger Woods tears into the springbok, his mouth crimson with blood, he looks to have all the makings of a natural-born killer.

I can't speak for BC or this year's OH, but in 07, KS did run a Palladium game with a buttload of players.

In all honesty, places like rpg.net have much hate for all things Palladium. There is, as I understand it, some friction between KS and BC but what I know of the situation doesn't support BC being full of vitol legitimately. They had a creative falling out you might say and Bill moved away from Palladium as his creative outlet.

As for games at the Open House, Kevin usually runs a Palladium game and even if he personally doesn't for whatever reason, there's plenty of other people running Palladium products.

While there are Palladium haters on RPG.net, it isn't the bastion of anti-Palladium that one might think from reading about it here.

I'm not sure exactly where the quote he cited came from, so this may not apply, but could the "Bill_Coffin" comment be someone using a fake account, similar to what happened to Tony La Russa

Bill and Kev had a falling out, and Bill said some stuff.
IIRC, they have since reconciled, and Bill has said some nicer stuff.
