I hate myself for waiting 2 years to ask this question at open house i forget about it completely:
How do convert powers that don't add damage but have effects like "turns the sdc damage into MD"? Two examples are the flame weapon tattoo and the psi-slingers psi-enhanced bullet (takes sdc shot and makes it do 1d6 MD).
the non-obvious MDC/SDC conversions question

Re: the non-obvious MDC/SDC conversions question
For a MD to ND conversion for a flaming weapons tattoo, I would double the MD in ND.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

That was my first thought too, but in the case of the tattoos, there is another tattoo that does that very thing.
