How about a vehicle book(s) for S.D.C. worlds?
Or maybe as a regular (or semi-regular) feature in the Rifter?
I know we can all homebrew our own tank and apc/ifv stats, but sometimes hunting down details on particular vehicles is a headache. Wouldn't it be great if the nice folks at Palladium put something out for us on this subject?
Imagine how much time it would save when you need to know what armor the PLA has got to teach those nosy American superheroes to mind their own business? Or knowing just what might be in the garage of the Italian S.C.R.E.T.?
You'd like that, wouldn't you?

Does anyone else want to see this?
If we make it clear that this is a book we'd like to buy, I'm sure they'll make it. But we do need to get their attention.

That would be a good idea too.
"And in this Rifter... Big Yellow Things!"
I not kidding either, if your super hero is taking on a gang of thugs, how do you make it harder on him... Have them use construction vehicles!
Think that sounds silly, then you should check out the anime "Patlabor". If you haven't heard of it, it's about a world where labors (robotic construction vehicles) are commonplace, and a special police unit exists to deal with the chaos created when they're used by criminals.

Alas, HU books are few and far between. Vehicles Unlimited, Robotics Unlimited and Gadgets Unlimited would certainly be welcome in my collection.

Along with Hardware Unlimited, Tech Unlimited, Mercenaries Unlimited and Warfare Unlimited?
Don't tease... Wayne Breaux had originally been going to do the Robotics Unlimited book, but no telling if it will ever get written now.

I would buy pretty much Unlimited anything if it was a book:)
I do think a Rifter series on real world equipment would have a pretty wide appeal. An SDC Stryker, Corner Shot system, or even just some of the gun gadgets that are real, but not widely talked about in gaming circles, along with the construction equipment, trucks and such.

Also, it might be nice to have stats for vehicles from the first and second World Wars.

I'd be up for a book like Tech Unlimited. Something that had "everything" in it.
Regular Cars
Bikes/Motorcycles
Trucks
Semi's
Military (modern) vehicles
including Choppers, Fighter Planes etc
As well as include most the stuff from Contemporary Book of Weapons but "updated and cleaned up" as that book I find is kinda lame.

There really isn't a way to do "everything" in one book, or even a couple. You can't stat out every jet fighter, or every motorcycle out there. Just too many options. You can do things in categories. As an example, do jet fighters by era, or decade. You stat out one interceptor and one multi-role fighter for each decade from 1930s-2010s. The fighter from the previous decade would represent the low end of tech, and the one from the next decade would be the bleeding edge. So if it is the 1940s a current fighter is a P-51, last decades is a Peashooter, or Buffalo, and next generation is a F-86. The "Super Nazi Villain" deploys a fighter with stats similar to a Sabre, the regular military runs Mustangs (or even ME 109s, or Spitfires which would have similar stats) and the third rate powers fly the Buffalo. It isn't a perfect system but would allow you to stat a dozen planes and cover most eras. Do the same with cars, bikes, whatever. That way you can get a decent stat for a bike without having to have 50 pages of a catalog.

I forgot who on the boards wrote this, but here are some modern military vehicles written out:

That's pretty neet, pity the aircraft is all out of date.

I would love to see a book on modern vehicles. Or even several. Or even as Rifter articles.
One could divide them up among several categories.
-Military Aircraft
-Armored Vehicles
-Civilian Aircraft
-Civilian Vehicles
And so on.
