I wish I could say I was talking about Palladium’s online sales (which have picked up a bit the last few days, thank goodness), or my writing. No, I’m talking about . . .
- Monday the air-conditioning in my 2008 Dodge Caravan goes out. I’ve yet to find the time to take the car to the dealer for repairs.
- Wednesday, the air-conditioning dies at the office! Due to the hot-streak and a deluge of service calls, it will be a couple days before the heating and cooling repairman can swing by. It is hot, muggy and miserable even with fans going.
- Thursday, I leave a hot, muggy office (thermostat said 83 inside my room) to go home only to find out the evening storms knocked out the power at my apartment building. No word on when power might be restored. As of Friday evening it’s still out. Glad I showered and shaved Thursday morning!
And it has been hot (88-95 degrees Fahrenheit), very humid and storming most of the week! Ick.
At least the AC is back up and running at the office as of this afternoon!! (Ahhhh, so pleasant.) So I guess I’ll be spending the night on my trusty office sofa (and maybe the entire weekend). That’s alright, I have plenty of work to do over the weekend. We want Fleets to go to the printer next week and then it's on to Outbreak and Mysteries of Magic. But . . . sheesh, what a week.
