Can you guys rank the top 5 hardest to live in settings according to deadliest to none Deadly
10 - Beyond the Supernatural
9 - Heroes Unlimited
8 - Palladium Fantasy
7 - Scraypers

5 - Rifts Earth
4 - Chaos Earth

1) - Hades : The most densly packed population wise of the two realms of Hell. And the Enviorment itself is even against you.
2) - Dyval : Its hell .. nuff said.
3) - Wormwood : Its almost as bad as one of the planes of hell ..
4 ) - Chaos Earth : The setting is designed to simply flat out kill and destroy your gear .
5) - Rifts Earth : This is the default setting of Palladium an its flagship game, This world is rife with pretty much anything that can be found as for power levels, as well as also having formed Governmental bodies .

1. RECON - Not megaversal, but easily the deadliest of all.
2. Dead Reign - The world is dying and you get to attempt to survive its caniballistic death throes.
3. BTS - Agreed with the statement above. Alien Intelligences from beyond and characters descending into madness, the characters are ALWAYS outmatched.
4. Mechanoids - The characters are outgunned and on the run. This is 'The Terminator' before the Terminator and it throws hundreds of thousands of Terminators at the humans, not just one.
5. Chaos Earth - The world has gone mad and all you can do is pray you are with a good group and in a safe(-ish) location.

Yeah, Splicers is really rough. Simply touching a piece of metal can kill you. Characters imigrating to the Splicers world loose their magic and probably their psionics, and their magic or techno-metallic items turn against them.
Dead Reign is almost as bad. In Kevin's version, the characters don't get any edges in terms of high technology nor mystcism. In the Joshes' version, demons are two steps behind the zombies. I don't know which is worse.
Robotech: Invid Invasion is rough. The aliens have MDC gear, and you probably don't. Even if you do, there is probably no way for you to get more ammo and fuel.

4. Rifts: Chaotic, Violent, strangely overpopulated and technologically wildly anachronistic.
3. Palladium Fantasy: Crappy armor, medicoer weapons, supernatural demons? What would be a minor skirmish in Rifts turns into a deadly battle.

Beyond the Supernatural: Less deadly to the body, more self inflicted things to stop the pictures (6 Bloody razors of 10)
Palladium Fantays: Wildly vaires, you can walk around with general impunity through most the world (3 Shields of 10), then you hit a notable area (Select spots of the hinterlands, Yin-Sloth, Baalgore, Nimro), and it goes off the charts and the best prepared of them run like little girl from the 'minor' encounters and fall over dead from the bad ones (7 Dead Warrior Monks of 10), and then it just is unfair in Land of the Damned, select spots of the world (a fun kinda unfair).
Rifts: A bit harder to classify, it's very wild, some spots are fine, some are insane (Madhaven just kills or makes you wish it finished the job). But the gear and weapons you can select from are also very high end at times, so it's a huge equation of Where are you, Who are you, and What are you packing? Guy in a Power Armor flying through Chagago? 5 SAMAUS Suits of 10. Guy in half plate, crossbow stake shooter in hand and crosses painted on every visable inch? 7 Undead hunters of 10. Some farmer chasing that bandit in half MD suit with a 30.06 rifle and a vibro knife? 8 Crazy Russian Villagers with Bicycle Mounted Railguns of 10. You get the idea. Things go wrong a lot in rifts though, and it needs things to go right or your in a world of hurt (weapon break? well guess you need an escape route!)
Chaos Earth: See Rifts, but increase by 100% (Better weapons, better armor, better enemies, more wackiness when things like your armor blows up)
Night Bane: Very dangerous to mind and body, nightbane or not (sure you could take your Morphous out and wreck faces, but then you've got a houndsquad, two hunters and a pack leader running you down). 7 Fascades of 10
Hades and Dyval: Better be hiding and awsome in these places or you're demon food, or slaves before being food, 10 Huddeling suvivors of 10.
I've never done a dedicated Wormwood game, but during cross plays from people rifting, seems tame (Naturally MD? Cash in.), and I've never even looked at Skyscrapers or Heros Unlimitied (super hero thing aint' my cup o unrealistic awsome combat thing, PFRPG, RIFTS, occassinal Bane or Beyond for the moody suspense, horror feel).

1. Mechanoids: They're running all over the planet killing everything while their ship is cutting your planet up into pieces to use as fuel for their war machine. So even if you survive the millions of super powered troops, your planet being vaporized will getcha.

3 = Dead Reign (for everyone), and Choas Earth (but only if you're a civilian).
4 = Choas Earth (if you belong to NUMA), being on Earth at the inital start of each Robotech War.

Why'd some of you guys rank Wormwood so high on your "Palladiums' most dangerous" list?
I mean think about it; in all the other settings, if you're human you can punch and kill other humans. In Wormwood, I could drop-kick babies out a second-story window, and people would only pitty me for acting retarded (after collecting their babies of course). This is one of the few settings where you basically have to become a super-powerful "thing" in order to even hurt children. All the other settings even the lowliest of miscreants can atleast kill a small child with their bare hands. This setting otherwise doesn't have that.

Wormwood's up there because the human race is losing, and losing badly. The Unholy and his minions rule most of the planet, the only two knightly orders which still exist don't trust each other, and the baddies have agents and worshippers at the highest levels of the Cathedral hierarchy. Without either some epic heroics or a full blown invasion from another dimension, its gonna be game set and match to the Unholy.
Anywise, my top five looks like this.
1) Mechanoids - they've depopulated entire galaxies. If your world doesn't have interstellar travel then you're dead the moment they find you. If your world does have interstellar travel your options are basically to wander the universe as refugees forever, or go out gloriously in an ever-shifting (as member races get exterminated) alliance of humanoid civilizations fighting an endless losing rearguard action in a desperate and largely futile effort to slow the Mechanoid advance.
2) Wormwood - like I said, you're already losing.
3) Nightbane - you're losing here too. Mankind's best hope at this stage is to be shown the truth and then to embark on World War Three, nuking most of the world's major cities in the hopes of catching the Nightlords with their pants down.

Meanwhile Gorushan "pirates" are getting bolder as the Gorushan race probes to see how far it can push things without provoking a military response, the Manhunters are waging a terrorist campaign to cripple morale before the return of their rebuilt and enlarged fleet, and the half-machine fanatics of the Void are busy planning god only knows what in the inky depths of uncharted space.

I mean think about it; in all the other settings, if you're human you can punch and kill other humans. In Wormwood, I could drop-kick babies out a second-story window, and people would only pitty me for acting retarded (after collecting their babies of course). This is one of the few settings where you basically have to become a super-powerful "thing" in order to even hurt children. All the other settings even the lowliest of miscreants can atleast kill a small child with their bare hands. This setting otherwise doesn't have that.

To me: Rifts Phase World is number one. Cuz you can easily find yourself squaring off against a CCW battleship and not know how the hell you got there or what to do about it. 1d6x10,000 is some pretty serious damage.
In my 3 Galaxies campaigns we often had the team going up against galactic empires in relatively short order. Made them a lot more cautious and diplomatic. The problem with running around Rifts Earth for a while is the had loads of goodies and they knew the level of every threat. I needed to cure them of their arrogance. A wormhole to Center fixed that issue, quickly.

Overall I had more characters die in my campaign for Nightbane, but I had an entire party wipe two different times in different Robotech campaigns I ran.
They make a wondrous mess of things. Brave amateurs, they do their part.
