Mini-Update January 28, 2010

We been pounding out page after page of material for Rifts® Dimensional Outbreak™ and it is looking great. It won’t be ready to go to the printer tomorrow (Friday) as we had hoped, but next week for sure. I was here working on it till 11 PM last night and got in this morning at 7:00 AM.

You are so going to love this book. The closer we get to completion the more excited we all become about it. The art’s great, the story’s great, the ideas are awesome and there is a ton of source material.

Several other books are also in development and looking good.

Online Sales have been up and down, mostly down.

Distributor sales for The Rifter® were down about 10%, which was both surprising and disappointing (they had gone up about 10% the last half of last year). Then again, we may see some quick restock orders.

Don’t forget to renew your Rifter® subscription. It’s a great deal.

VIP Thursday tickets™ for the Palladium Open House go on sale Monday, February 1, 2010. We held back 20 or so admission slots in an attempt to give EVERYONE who wants to attend VIP night a chance to do so. VIP night is limited to only around 74 gamers (plus Palladium staff and freelancers). Available on a first come first served basis.

Hey, come to the Palladium Open House for the rest of the weekend – Friday thru Sunday – or even just for one day. I think you’ll find it worth the trip. Especially for those of you who live only a few hours away in Michigan, Ohio and Windsor! Friday is pretty much games and panel talks ALL day long. Saturday has a ton of games plus special events like the Costume Contest and Live Auction. Palladium staff and creators are present every day, most of the day.

Dad, worry wart that he is, was down anticipating his cancer check up in a couple weeks. That’s when we’ll find out if they think the chemo-therapy has killed the bladder cancer or whether it’s back.

I told Dad to stay positive, and I’ll tell you the same. Stay positive. Be hopeful. Keep those imaginations burning bright.

Sincerely,
