Mini-Update February 23, 2001

Dimensional Outbreak™ printer proof looks great! The printer had me come in to approve the printer proofs for the cover and interior pages of Rifts® Dimensional Outbreak™ Monday afternoon. The John Zeleznik cover reproduced perfectly. The interior pages are gorgeous. This book is awesome. Even my printer rep commented on how good the art looked. Ship date is March 8, 2010.

I’ve assigned artwork for Rifts® Heroes of the Megaverse™ and I’m very happy with this book so far.

I’ve also assigned artwork for Rifts® Triax™ 2. Mike Wilson will be doing the lion’s share of art along with Brian and Allen Manning and others. I’ve also had a chance to skim through the entire book fairly thoroughly now and it looks like Taylor White and Brandon Aten did a fantastic job. There is a ton of cool new weapons, vehicles and power armor as well as insightful data about the New German Republic™ and Triax™. I guarantee this book will ship in April.

The covers to the Rifts® Vampire books are gonna blow you away.

We are all very excited about upcoming titles.

Online sales for the weekend turned out pretty good, thanks to strong Sunday sales. It fell short of expectations by only 3%. Nice. Sales this morning were a little weak but not horrible.

Big Snowstorm came and went without much fuss. The snow was wet and heavy, and we got around 7 inches officially (looked more like 9 or 10 to me), but streets were kept clean and the snow offered little trouble.

I had a nice talk with a some old friends the last few of days, and I see my Dad for our weekly breakfast tomorrow. He sounded to be in excellent spirits when we spoke over the weekend.

I’m sure there is more going on, but that’s it for now.
