The shooting knife in the book is a 4 barrelled .22LR calibre weapon (3 barrelled if you got the folding version of the knife). The Russian NRS Scouting Knife fires a single 7.62 mm round. The round is specially silenced and strikes with considerably greater force than the .22LR rounds fired by the Chinese weapon.
