Besides I have no choice, my GM agrees with you Braden, so therefore I have to.
Oh... that made me smile. Thanks.
The real root of the problem is that, back in 1993, someone at Palladium didn't do a proper continuity check, and now someone has to bridge the two. I'm used to it... I did for all the ships in Phase World, and man let me tell you that was a chore...
Braden, I haven't seen this book listed in any of the recent press releases, and I'm looking forward to your expansion of Wormwood.A fave of mine. Any clue as to where it lands on the list of upcoming titles? After Minion War the new Vamp books, The new German book, but are we looking at 2010, 2011? What? Any clue?
If you're expecting an actual book, then you, I, and everyone else, is in for dissappointment because it's not likely to happen.
See, the Rifter articles are basically a pared-down version of a manuscript idea pitched to Kevin several years ago. He said that he would like to see more stuff for Wormwood, but that he was concerned that a full book wouldn't be a big seller. So instead of just letting the notion die, I turned it into a Rifter series.
However, if you really like them, and think they should be compiled into a single manuscript, why not send a letter to Palladium telling them so? Can't hurt...
Me and my friends love everything about wormwood. Except wormwood. Some of the stupidest rules I have ever seen. Well, rule oversights I should say. We love the setting, love the occ's, love the villians, couldn't be forced to play it. Play the characters in any other setting? Yes.

I always want to ask the same question about Wormwood... how well did the book sell in comparison with the other books?
I loved Wormwood, I ported it into other systems and ran it, had a ball. However, I always tempered my desire for more Wormwood because I had no idea how well the book did.
Wormwood does come across as a little uniform in its geography. I agree with the guy who wanted more on the pillar forests. What other ecologies are posisble? I would also love to see more wormwood flavored ecologies... are there Wormwood canyons? The resin mountains, how are they like or not-like other fantasy settings? More Wormwood spins on well-known fantasy concepts would be exciting and fun!
Wormwood has an opportunity to be as unique and in depth as any other fantasy setting. The dreamer in me thinks that Palladium needs a new fantasy setting because the PFRPG one is a bit cookie cutter... and Wormwood could take that place. The market is primed, Wormwood is kind of like Pandora... with worms.... mmm worms... It's not 'steampunk', it's 'Wormpunk!'.
I loved the symbiotes, would love more.
Flesh it out.. heheh, I made a funny....

a second Wormwood book that includes several new kingdoms, lots of description, an expanded map, a detailed look at Worldgate and its Army for Hire, several new OCCs that are actually interesting to play, and the vague hint of a metaplot (find the rightful heir, and re-unite the Realm).
I think that is the best I can realistically pitch.
I would love to own "The Wormwood RPG", but am smart enough to know that it's simply too much to ask.
You get a gold star if you give everything sensible stats, include optional SDC stats, and retcon the "everyone and everything is MDC and DEAR GOD WE JUST DIVIDED THE RULES BY ZERO" insanity of the first Wormwood book
EDIT: AH CRAP IVE STUMBLED THROUGH A WORMHOLE TO THE YEAR 2006! AAAAAAAH!

From the horrors of the Soul Vats comes...
THREAD NECROMANCY!!!!!
A second Wormwood book has been sitting half-completed on my computer for about three years now. After a few conversations with Palladium Books' top man, I have decided to submit Brave New Wormwood to the Rifter, rather than to try and have it published as an entire sourcebook.
Given the financial state of the company at the present time, I feel it would be better to get this new material out in the existing quarterly publication, rather than to gamble on whether or not a second Wormwood book might or might not sell.
So... I am hoping that before long a series of articles will begin appearing in the Rifter called The Wormwood Addenda. These will detail the causes of the Great Tribulation, two new Kingdoms (Ezud and Reorith Province), several new OCCs, and info on the City of Worldgate (including conversions for motorcycles and Black Powder weapons).
So if they don't appear by Rifter #40... start flooding Wayne Smith with demanding messages!
Ok so I know I am responding to a long ago thread, but I can't find the statement in a thread that I saw the other night.
@Brandon Campbell, I have 2 questions for you. Do you have a map of the Wormwood eastern kingdoms, the thread I found had a broken link.
Second, what happened to the "4th" instalment of Wormwood Addendum? or did you decide you only needed three to publish all the material.
I am hoping your still active around here or someone knows.
