Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Halo Legends, Ninja Scroll, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, Heavy Metal & Heavy metal 2000. Starship Trooper cartoon, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was close and Hellgate London's opening & ending scenes were right on the money for Cyber-Knights.

Re: what show or anime reminds you of rifts
Many years ago there was a live action series called 'Other World', I believe, which dealt with the adventures of a family transported to another Earth divided into military-governed 'Zones'(the show in turn, reminded me of any even earlier show with much the same idea, only it was a mixed bag of time-travelers who all met up in the Bermuda Triangle and were crossing various universes looking for a way home)...Since there was dimensional travel involved, AIs, various forms of magic, and hints of Atlantis, it reminds me of Rifts, from the perspective of a dimensional traveler.

I don't think it is worth the win. It should be quality not quantity. Then again Charlie Jade is an excellent multi-dimensional show.

Jerimiah... Yeah and his character seems really Nacho Cheezy to me... then again it's probably because I STILL think of him as a Cosby kid. I suddenly feel the need to put a needle in your eye and then use a hot poker on both of mine. Thanks for bringing that movie up. I had forgotten about it so completely that I had to Bing it and then... THEN the urge for causing pain returned. Oh what a bad movie, like a movie that was made to show how bad movies could be. A movie that says "Hi, I'm big budget. Yeah those B-Movies... lots of people like them and they're supposed to be bad. So I'm spending a lot of money to show them what a real budget can do to make things bad."

since anime sucks, and rifts doesn't...I'm going to go with none of them.
Just to note: I have nothing against people who like anime. I don't. I've found 1 I've ever liked...ever, but this does not mean anything toward any person.

full metal alchemist. But it only slightly reminds me of rifts.
To craft a deadly spell reminds me of BTS or even Triax/NGR.

We all have our likes and dislikes, I for one, would rather keep anime as a hobby over rifts.
If I presume the 1 you mention is an anime show, then you probably have not looked very much, or only looked at the american releces. Because anime has all the genres that other film forms have.
horror
hentai
love-triangles, -dodecahedrons
racing cars, motorcycles, mecha
Space Opera
High School angst
Collage Angst
Magical Girl
Vampires (both sparkly and non-)
romantic comedy
etc...
etc...
etc...

I really like FMA too and was a little upset when they ended it, even though the ending was quite good. Have you ever seen Bubblegum Crisis or Silent Mobius they are two that I think you'd really enjoy but you have to like cyberpunk as a genre.
To craft a deadly spell was a neat take on HP Lovecraft far more BTS or Nightspawn/bane than Triax/NGR.

My friend (roadwarrior) actually was gonna run bubblegum crisis, and I had to watch some of the episodes. I really didn't like it. I'm not big on cyber punk really, which is probably why I didn't like bbc.
the triax/ngr thing comes from the idea that in NGR they don't really have anyone to investigate or find magic users/monsters beyond gargs and brodkil, so they rely on gypsies and "professionals"....which is why I get this image that NGR probably has more than a few "magic detectives" for hire.

Yeah I guess
Lodoss war wasn't bad, but a big reason for this is I played a game for it (Can't remember the name or what system), but it did endear itself to me via the game. If I'm flipping through channels and I see it's on, I'll watch it. FMA was the only anime I've ever bought. On that note, there is one more I recall seeing that I enjoyed. Big O.
So, 1 I really liked and 2 that I enjoyed.
