Just wondering I always though Sensory Equipment was required for power armor pilots? To be able to work the optical systems and radar?
1. So do you think it required?
2. What should be the problems if a character does not have it?

Its required.
They cant find a damn thing except visually, and only then if the front of the helmet is glass (which it never is) or they open up the helmet.
They lost all combat bonuses from PA training.

I don't require it. I find the skill to be way to broad - trained in everything from military to medical to industrial gauges? Instead what I do is once you select a piloting skill (power armor, helicopter, jet fighter, etc), you know how to operate all the various systems.

Re: Power Armor and Sensory Equipment
i'd say it only applies to trying to make full use of the sensors. like tweaking settings, or trying to ID things the computer doesn't recognize, and so on.
generally you can use the sensors without it..your just stuck with the "default" settings. so you can use that thermal imager..but not adjust the sensitivity. you can use that radar..your just reliant on the computer to give you range, speed, altitude, and vehicle type data.
