Power Blade (Power Weapon & Psi-Sword)

Ya or Na? Discuss.

I consider the Psi-Sword a melee weapon.
Works on TK-Weapons.

but not sure If I want to allow it.

Yeah it makes the Psi-sword semi-useful.

I used to say that Rifts had a disease called 'Cyberknightis'...

A bizarre affliction where you believe the psi sword is useful...

Melee weapons are good if they do slightly more damage than the ranges weapons in a given encounter. At that point it makes sense for a character to close the distance and take away an enemies ranged advantage. Of course, thats pointless against a number of opponents for various reasons, but its still a nice option.

As for psi-swords, provided they go up in power as time goes on, they can be helpful.

Ranged weapons > melee weapons
