I'm looking through the Rifts Ultimate Edition and there are some striking differences and omissions compared to the original main book regarding how long someone can run for and how long they can lift/carry their weight limit for. Does anyone know where I can find rules for running and exhaustion applicable to RUE? The original main book had info in the attribute section under P.E. but it is superceded/contradicted/replaced/nerfed by the information in RUE under the Running skill and in the lifting weight section.
Actually, the lifting weight info is relatively usable, but the running rules seem to only be applicable to someone who's taken the Running skill. Does that seem to be anyone else's interpretation? Or in "classic" fashion, has the standard rule for running to exhaustion applicable for any character been buried in this skill and I'm interpreting it wrong?
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Running, lifting, exhaustion, exertion, etc
I have no official rules but here is what I do
A I looked at Pathfinder's weights for medium light etc
Carry/4 for PE hours
Carry/2 for PE Half hours
Carry for PE x10 minutes
Lift for PE x5 seconds
Running
Walk = Spd/4 for PEx4 hours
Jog = Spd/3 for PEx2 hours
Run=Spd/2 for PE x5 minutes
Sprint=Spd for PE in minutes

The entire experiment may ultimately not work. But as Tiger Woods tears into the springbok, his mouth crimson with blood, he looks to have all the makings of a natural-born killer.
