Re: How much are organs worth?
if he's selling, less than he'd have to pay to buy.
i'd make buying replacement organs about 1/2 the cost of buying a biosystem replacement of the same type. then i'd apply the normal "selling to the black market" modifers.
i would also assume most Cyberdocs have a 'trade in' deal where the price of the bionic conversion is discounted the price of buying the persons organs.
however i would only have this as an option for fairly legitimate cyberdocs, not the back-alley hucksters. mainly because storing natural organs would need pricy and delicate gear to keep them in good condition.

In a world where you can get bio-system replacements that won't be rejected, reject-able used organs wouldn't be worth much if anything.

not true. transplant organs would be like buying 'bootleg' versons of stuff. almost as good, some risks, cheaper.
not everyone can afford to buy the biosystems. but transplant organs would be a more common resource. if they have the potential for rejection, thats the risk you carry for not paying for quality.

If you can't afford biosystems you probably can't afford anti-rejection meds either. So taking a transplant organ instead of say a generic mechanical device or cheap biosystem is like signing your own death warrant.
You might be able to get something for them as spell components, but in any decent high tech enclave your probably going to get charged for disposal not paid for trading them in. Remember, for them to be worth anything there has to be someone in need who's willing to pay right now. Transplanted organs don't stay good outside of a body forever and since society has developed alternatives I doubt any money has gone into research to make transplants more viable.

I'd imagine considering the advances in medicine that it isn't to far fetched to believe that doctors can either strip the organs of their serotype and alelles and match them to the person being donated to, or else modify the person's immune systems and blood type to match that of the transplanted organ.
There has been a case were a person received a transplanted liver, and for whatever reason their blood type and immune system mutated to match that of the donated organ, preventing rejection and requiring no immune suppression drugs. Only case in recorded history of this happening. That doesn't mean that nearly a century of medicine hence doctors haven't found a way of doing this 'inexpensively' so that donated organs are possible with no follow on medication.

Also remember there is a whole market of magic user who might need an organ as a spell component. Also bet there are a lot of "Potion" shops which might use them.
If all else fails, selling them as a quack cure for some DB illness might be profitable.

Seconded, and also who's to say they are going to put the organs in their body by means of surgery. Maybe they're looking for a snack?

Or sell them to Atlantis to make soup.
The word "THAN" is important. Something is "better than" something else, not "better then", it's "rather than" not "rather then".
Re: How much are organs worth?
IMHO it would be easy to make a modified bio comp, mini version of a drug harness and the built in nano robots that the juicers have installed. it would make a generic anti rejection system to let you implant donated organs, still have to match blood and species. plus that way you could transplant limbs as well. you could even sell transplant bodies. an 70 year man could buy the the body of a 18 your old who decided to be a borg. I also have stat-ed up cybernetic and bio-system torso's. I personally thought stuff like that would be available at high end cyber doc shops

Depends. Are you trying to sell them for transplant... or food?
lol
Reguardless the market would vary drastically based on location. People forget but 98% of rifts earth is back woods wild and wolly monster infested wilderness. Out there.. not so much. In one of the few specks of high tech communities, you might be able to make some coin off it.
If you're going the borg route, they probably just knock some off the top if the body chop shop can reuse what they take out. You're not going to make much though.
