So my players are up to the point where the final siege on Tolkeen is about to be played out. This is the calm before the storm. One of their enemies is going to make a play for the group. Part of the plan entails using an Anti-Magic Cloud to disable the groups spell casting abilities. What would happen if the AMC was done on/in a Pyramid? Would the pyramids abilities be affected? It's a group of Sunaj coming after the group and since they are Atlanteans who know how to operate pyramids they are going to use the layout of the pyramid to their advantage.
Yes the AMC will hinder their own magic abilities save for the caster. I'm thinking the pyramid will in essence lose power and be shut down impacting the magic grid around it. Which in turn could temporally cripple Tolkeens magic defense system. Those are my thoughts. What does everyone else think?

Sounds about right to me.
(interesting side thought.)
Say the AMC is cast as a ritual.
and in order to gather sufficient ppe multiple mages are involved.
Who benefits from the being able to cast under the cloud?

Every group has one problem player. If you cannot spot the one in your group; look in the mirror.
It is not a good session until at least one player looks you in the eye and says "you sick twisted evil ****"

Re: AMC and Pyramids
I kind of figure for rituals their is a head guy, or group leader per se. i would assume he would be the only one to benefit.
Thanks for the input DM

even though they are working and contributing to the same goal? Allowing all the benefits would make cabals very dangerous. but I can also see where the head guy is it works well too.
