The PS damage bonus applies to one-handed weapons, therefore it should apply to each one-handed weapon even when using weapons paired.

KC is Correct.

Besides, there's no reason to assume that a "Simultanious" dual-attack actually has both swords moving at the same time. Simultanious means "In the same turn, not same instant, a specific definition used for the game.

After all, the default combat turn is assumed to be about 3 seconds in palladium, more than enough for someone trained (i.e. has the skill) in paired weapons to launch two full strength blows so fast they can overhwelm someone with the speed. After all, that's how paired weapon fighting actually works in real life.

Although I agree with you, I see flaw in your argument. I mean, rules says a simultaneous strike opens the PC defense, so it can't parry. IMO, that can imply that it is indeed at the same instant (while the blades are striking they can't block). Again, I see you point and I agree, this comment it's just for the record.

Negative. What about "cannot parry" means "Occurs in the same instant"? You can easially be too off-balance or positioned wrongly to parry without both arms having to be in motion at the same time.

I started using a house rule for PS bonus damage. I don't like each arm getting the bonus. I feel that if it is a 2 handed weapon being used then you geyt full bonus. If its a single weapon with shield, you get half bonus rounded up. If it is paired, you get half to each with any uneven split to the players called domanant hand. I know that not how the rules state but I truly feel it is more realistic. Can you hit some just as hard with one hand as you can with two?

Brewski does have a point, although I do not necessarily think that 1/2 dam is accurate- unless ambidextrous. It does go to ease of calculations, however, which is why I usually use the main rule rather than house...

I would say as a house rule that the main hand gets 3/4 PS damage modifier while the off hand gets 1/2 PS damage modifier. I house rule it this way because I have always heard that most people, with vary rare exception, are slightly weaker with their non-dominate hand.

3/4 for each, I suppose. I'll cross that bridge when it shows up.

I made house rules for various weapon combos to make all combinations useful to players.

1. 2-Handed weapons - It does 150% damage + PS bonus and reaches an extra combat square.

2. Paired Weapons - They each do damage + PS bonus. You can also parry and simultaneously attack an opponent that is using only a single weapon.

3. Weapon/Shield Combo - Provides cover from ranged attacks. This makes your ranged opponent make called shots to hit you. You can make up your own bonuses for different sized shields. You can also parry with the shield and simultaneously attack an opponent that is using only a single weapon.
