Old fan material...
So, I've got a new site up, and I was going through some old writing of mine, deciding what to put back online for archival purposes. In with it is a lot of old stuff I wrote for Nightbane, mostly from 1997-2003 or so. Not sure anyone remembers this stuff or would have any use for it. The biggest thing in it would be Shadows of the South, the netbook Matt Penn and I did back in the old days of the PML. There's some other stuff, too - Children of Domhain Dorcha and so forth. So, here's the question: is there enough interest in this crap to justify me going to the trouble of reformatting it and putting it up? Keep in mind that none of it's been updated for eight or nine years. If no one's going to read or use it, I'm not going to bother with it, since I've lost interest in Palladium.

I remember them and thought they were really good. I think the newer fans would like it.

I'd love to take a look. Nightbane is one of the best games palladium has produced and would be nice to see some more net/fan info since it seems to be lacking. Shadows of the South was nicely writen, so ya... got my vote

I really liked Shadows of the South, too - I use it as canon in my Nightbane world. Definitely repost it!

Greetings!
I agree with the others who rightfully praise Shadows of the South! If you would be so kind as to repost it, fans across the Nightlands and beyond shall rejoice !

I thought Children of Domhain Dorcha was excellent. If you could put it up, please. I don't have that Rifter anymore (frikkin' postal service).

I remember Shadows of the South from a google search back in the day when I was running Nightbane. I wish I could get another Nightbane game going but some of my players aren't big fans of the setting. I need to find someone to run a game around here... or play. I've got such a Nightbane craving.

Re: Old fan material...
Mercifully, most of the Necromancer Bob and derivative crap got lost because I forgot to back all that up when I wiped my hard drive a few years ago. That includes the LeBehemoth (thank you for reminding me of the stupidity of my youth, by the way).
It may take a couple of weeks for me to reformat everything and decide how to organize it all. Right now, it's a higher priority to put up new stuff. Right now, the only gaming-related content I have is my miniatures rules and a few photos (and yeah, a few short stories people might find interesting, but they're not Palladium-like).

I know I'm a little late chiming in, but I would love to see it. I don't know that I ever saw it and would love. Born and raised in the South, I'm really interested to see what you came up with. Especially with the high praise some of the other posters have left.

Re: Old fan material...
Just a quick update. I was originally thinking I'd just take the Shadows section from my old site, patch up a few links, upload it to the server, and add a link to my site's sidebar, but that didn't pan out. Turns out the HTML files have gone missing. I still have the Word files I wrote/edited everything in, so what I'm going to do is compile them all into a single PDF. That might take some time.

Yeah. At this point, I really don't care enough to bother. It's not worth the effort. Right now, I have a novel I'm working on, plus crap for Chainsaw Buffet. I have more than enough projects to keep me busy.
