Rune weapon spells.

Would a spell with the range of 'self only' strictly affect the rune weapon when cast, or would it include the wielder since they've 'bonded' after a while? The spell I had in mind was Sorcerous Fury.

It would include the wielder... take a rune weapon able to cast Armor of Ithan, for example... why does the weapon need to wear the armor? :D

Because it's very pretty armor.

Though in agreement with Creed, Self Range spells will affect the wielder, not the weapon, without special mention from the items description.

It will effect the owner.

Remember, Rune Weapons forge a mystical link directly to a person. This is what allows it to use those kinds of effects on the weilder and not just itself.

This is also the reason why the storm spire items tend to include the ensorcel spell. It's how they can make the items use those effects directly on the caster instead of the weapon itself (like the battle fury blades).
