Dragon and Gods
Prototypical Powers
Transmutantion
I understand many of the Gods/Demon Lords are greedy, uncaring, ect... But as a GM and player always wonder why there wasn't at least one God/Demon (in Rifts/Palladium) that used transmutantion to create wealth then uses it. Hire Mercs, buy followers the best equipment, purchase a planet, build a fleet of ships (without the need of a Demon Planet), bailout a nation in debt (good press even if Evil), Build amazing temples, develope new spells-technology-psychic arts, ect...
With unlimited resources the list goes on.

Most valuables are only valuable because of their relative rarity. If you go around making mountains of gold it's value is going to plummet.

Maybe so, but a God/Demon Lord has access to multiple dimensions to use the created wealth and using the above example:
...bailout a nation in debt (good press even if Evil)...
I doubt the United States would care if someone (something) showed up and Donated a Mountain of gold to pay off all the debt. Gold might fall afterward but the deed would already be done
Of course, it doesn't have to be gold---platinum, diamonds, and other rare materials.
Re: Gods and Demon Lords...
Greetings and Salutations. Let's also not forget the Body Investment. The god is giving up 10% of his body (which cannot be bio-regenerated, but must recover "naturally" ... which since mostly they only have bio-regeneration rates I fear may mean equal to human/mortal recovery rates). Demon Lords need to pay 50% of their bodies to use this ability. So if you're going to use it, you better be darn sure it's worth it. Remember, most of these gods and demon lords also have rivals, and if abilities such as this are used too often it's an invite for those enemies to take advantage. Just something else to consider. Thank you for your time and patience, please have a nice day. Farewell and safe journeys for now.

Demon Lords can cheat by sacrificing other Demons without needing the Body Investment
