People flip over Rifts® Lemuria

Another couple of people flip over Rifts® Lemuria

Everyone who sees the finished pages goes wild over this book.

Today, Chuck Walton and Carmen Bellaire saw the photocopy of Rifts® Lemuria and they were blown away. Chuck had seen the art and the first draft text to the things he illustrated, but had not seen the finished book. Nor had he seen the descriptions of the War Steeds I had written based on his art, or the final text for the Bio-Armor and Sea Dragons. I’m happy to say that Chuck was the latest person to be blown away by the book.

He was delighted with the write-ups I did based on his artwork and he marveled at the vast amount of dynamic source material in this book. “Kev, this book is unbelievable. There's so much stuff is in this book I can't get over it. And all the art and the layout is beautiful.” Chuck went on to praise the layout of the book over and over, as well as being impressed by the rest of the artwork by other contributing artists, especially Kent Burles, Amy Ashbaugh and Mike Mumah.

Likewise, though Carmen Bellaire had seen the original artwork and the most of the text in manuscript form, it is very different seeing it all together as the finished book. “Yeah, Kev, it looks greats. I really like the Biomancer and most of the stuff in the book. People will love it.” Carmen had not seen the War Steeds or Sea Dragons at all, and lamented that we had not given him more art for his two video reviews of Rifts® Lemuria. Sorry, Carmen, we probably should have.

I knew Rifts® Lemuria was an excellent book, but I am thrilled that EVERYONE who sees it, including the people who worked on it, are blown away by the finished product.

Carmen also went wild over Chuck’s art and designs for Northern Gun power armor and robots.

Today was a blinding whirlwind of catching up. Sent out many email correspondences, paid bills, met with Chuck Walton about his Northern Gun art and designs, met with Carmen about miniatures, wrote the first draft to the Weekly Update, wrote and sent out the Distributor’s update, had a brief meeting with Julius and Alex, assigned the last of the art for Rifter #58, did some cleaning and reorganizing, and worked with Wayne a bit on a PDF project. However, I’ll leave the details and more news for the Thursday Weekly Update. Whew. Tomorrow it's back to Dead Reign: Endless Dead™.

Keep the faith and those imaginations burning bright.

Sincerely,
