Crazy Busy!

I hope I’m not about to jinx myself, but today has been the first quiet day in two weeks and it's nice. It has been a whirlwind of activity the past several weeks. Since I have worked every day for something like the last five weeks straight (which I’m not supposed to do for health reasons), it’s all been a blur. The last week and a half has been especially busy. In fact, Monday was so hectic, I was unable to respond to each individual person who called, emailed, texted, Facebooked and PMed me a Happy Birthday. (My birthday was April 2. Julius' is Saturday.) Sorry about that, but THANK YOU. Even though I had to work and Monday was sheer madness (and Tuesday too), the multitude of well wishes made a crazy day seem special and nice.

This morning is the first time in two weeks the phones aren’t ringing off the hook and it’s a beautiful, if cool, Spring day. It’s also the first day that I got a good night’s sleep in at least a week. Still, I was in bright and early, around 7:30 AM.

I’ve finished up my responsibilities for The Rifter® #58 and I’m back to working on Endless Dead. Both books are looking awesome.

Rifts® Lemuria ships tomorrow. The softcover edition arrived earlier than expected and pre-orders will ship Thursday, April 5th. I’ve seen the final printing and it looks great. Hardcovers should ship two weeks later.

Online sales have picked up this week, so that’s excellent news as well. There’s room for improvement, but so far, sales are much better than last week, which was the worst we've seen in a long while. That’s a relief.

I have been so busy I hadn't been able to post a Murmur, so I wanted to let you know how things were going at Palladium. More in a day or two. Of course, the Thursday Weekly Update will have more news and details.
