Question about the spell Giant

Hey GMs, If an MDC character uses the spell giant, do you triple his MDC for the duration of the spell? I think the spell only says add sdc and hps together and triple that for MDC. It doesn't mention MDC creatures. My problem is that it would give the character over 900 MDC and could be very ugly!! Any ideas? My initial assumtion is to actually triple the MDC, and I want to be talked out of it!

Nope, you double their MDC according to the Rifts: Book of Magic. Be sure to check the end of the entry as well because their is a long list of creature types that can't be transformed by this magic.
