Magic Bows

Unread post by drewkitty ~..~ »

Are there any Magic bows in canon?

The only one I can think of is the star bow in the rifters that is with the space magic.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

Off the top of my head, there is the:
Larhold Bow (SA2),
Jungle Elf/Biomancer bow (SA),
Native American Fetish Bow (Spirit West),
Zen Master Bows (Japan)
and the Immortal's personal weapon (PU2).

Possibly SteelTree bows, if you think they're magic.

Any sufficiently advance technology is indistinguishable from magic.

They did make a robot of him in Japan didn't they? He really didn't write that much about Robots, though-That's Asimov.

PU2 also has the ability to Make bows, as the Ancient Weapons Master. This though, about covers it! These bows get the strength added in also. In PFRPG, I had a friend use what he called
Sharped arrows. They added the PS also.

Not really magic bows, or in-book items, but I have used the RUE TW Construction rules to create Quivers that manufacture arrows on demand with the investment of PPE. There are several variants imbuing the arrows with temporary effects. Once used (or depending the effect, consumed), or after the limited duration elapses the created arrows become standard SDC arrows, well, there is one variant where the arrows remain Mega-Damage, but not other special properties.

Rifter #52, Living Rune Weapons, page 81, Dalv, Rune Short Bow, no longer has a host body.. A weapon with an OCC, that gets better with XP.
