Half-Breed Villain

Unread post by LostOne »

I am looking for suggestions for a big bad evil race as exists in the palladium megaverse that everyone would assume can't breed with a mortal race but the possibility, however astronomical, might exist for a viable offspring if these two races were to attempt breeding through scientific assistance or magical ritual, thus producing an "impossible" offspring that would herald in an apocalypse era or end of an age according to prophecy.

I am not looking for existing half-breed races or even rules on how to make a powerful critter that could be called a half-breed. Just the idea of a powerful race that is unlikely to breed but could produce an ominous result.

Please include what book your suggestion is from.

Original post in spoiler, it was posted when I was tired and should have been in bed, sorry.
Spoiler:
So I'm looking for ideas of POWERFUL races/demons/magical beings/gods that could conceivably (even if it takes centuries, a literal one in a million or more chance) of breeding with a human to produce a human appearing yet scary and concept of a half-breed to be a villain. The kinds of races that wouldn't be allowed as a PC but a half-breed *might* be enough reduced to be allowable in a powerful game (or in this case as a villain).

But not necessarily just a scary powerful being, I'm looking for the kind of thing that when this half-breed, a unique being since no other like it would likely be conceived, it is a sign of coming doom, end of days, etc. Basically a palladium (Rifts) version of the antichrist but human or mostly human looking due to the human mother, with scary powerful powers from the father.

Obviously I haven't put a lot of thought into this. In the past I might spend a lot of time browsing my books looking for inspiration, but I have a newborn baby at home now and I haven't been able to crack a book in months. I've been doing a lot of GMing by the seat of my pants.

Demigods (RCB2) are the halfbreed children of a god and a mortal.

There are some GMs that allow using the demigod rules to make a demidemon char.

Gods can just create a minion race whenever they want to. (PF: Dragons and Gods).

Looking at the question a little differently...
In the ManHunter book their is the Kirin race which can mate with any other race to produce viable offspring. So if starting off with that race to start they could breed themselves a minion race.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.
Reading and writing (literacy) is how people on BBS interact.

Naga-Spawn (Rifts China 1, p. 118) are a hybrid of humans and Naga Demons.

Depending on the pantheon, a Godling (also found in CB2) could be the child of a god and some other supernatural entity, such as a demon lord.

Any Mega-Villain character in HU2 (particularly certain Immortals from PU2) could be designed as a child of evil, otherworldly beings.

Let me clarify.

I am not looking for existing half-breed races or even rules on how to make a powerful critter that could be called a half-breed.

I should also probably add to the request that people include where the beast is. What book is the Mulka in? :P

Hmmm... Top of my head,

Brakkana (Aliens Unlimited)
Faceless (Land of the Damned)
Croval (Land of the Damned)
Splugorth Slavers (Atlantis)
Splugorth Highlords (Atlantis)
Blood Dancers (Dark Conversions)
Nightlords (Nightbane and Dark Conversion)
True Naruni (Phase World)
Shades (Wormwood)
Tarlok (Skraypers)
Wrythe (Skraypers)
Zombies (Dead Reign)
Nauty'll (Underseas)
Lorica Wraith (Underseas)

Actually... Pretty much anything you want when you get down to it. ;)
Blade with whom I have lived.
Blade with whom I now die.
Serve right and justice one last time.
Seek one last heart of evil.
Still one last life of pain.
Cut well old friend...
and then farewell.
