I'll echo use of Skype. Part of the fun of RPGing for me & mine has been the facial expressions & body language used, and Skype allows for some of that to remain.
There's a site some on these forums have mentioned, rolld20.net I think? That looking at their site & videos, looks useful.

For this game to work, I need a fair and open forum based dice roller, does this forum have one? No, the Forum does not. Yes, the chat rooms do.
No,the PB forums (the Palladiumbooks' BBS) does not have a Play by Post section.(PbP)
Do the forums here offer both the dice rolling and the ability to post the images required to keep track of combat?
The Chat room does have picture posting ability, but it only able to show pictures posted somewhere on the web.
The only PbP games were at the "Living Merc." site ( http://arcticfrogstudios.com/forum/inde ... tion=forum ). Which does have a in forum dice roller, and has in forum picture posting.
