The only way this would happen is that that Game's GM would decide if they could do this.
In all canon there is no process for the NB to perm change their morphus.

May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.
Reading and writing (literacy) is how people on BBS interact.

It would go both ways and might also be a reflection of your alignment (so if you get an alignment change then your morphus would change too). What do you think?
So theoretically, if a Nightbane had something traumatic happen to them and they had multiple personalities, if this was allowed, how would the morphus reflect it? It couldn't change with every personallity.
One reason I personally wouldn't allow it, I have played with people that would try and pull this.
Re: Morphus and the ID
I would allow the change in Morphus to reflect the change in self. Of course, these would be small changes that would take place of a long stretch of time and would slowly replace the stats that previous Morphus traits gave. In other words, the new bonuses would replace not add to the previous Morphus bonuses.

They might have more then one morphius (r20 tables), or might have many faces on their morphius.
