need a planet name

Unread post by say652 »

I am creating an alien homeworld. high gravity humanoid type aliens. the concept is a 21st century type place and tech but the race has super powers, magic and psionics as the three main hero types. with such powerful natural abilities so common they never developed high technology. i call the race Ten G humans. any magic occ, psionic pcc or any hero type usingthe heroes book. the kicker is that all Ten G look like woman(men have male sex organs). any ideas on where to squish in such an interesting planet????

I know I may regret asking this, but the males on this planet all have mammary glands?

I think any of the three galaxies could hold such a planet, how about the Anvil Galaxy? I'm partial to the Thundercloud, all the natives there are fairly primitive at least by 3G standards.

If you want a name how about, Raskas?

Hey the alien race that dropped in on Gilligan's Planet had the males being busty female-appearing from human-perspective viewpoints.

It's 'canon', not 'cannon'. A cannon is a big gun like on pirate ships, canon is what you mean when referring to something as being contained within one of the books such as how many dice to roll for a stat.

phase two. a borg world. earthlike high technology. partial conversions pilot power armor full conversions pilot robots. pretty obvious that magic doesnt exist on this planet. though the occasional partial conversion psionic does exist. i call this race The Raiders. warlike all citizens serve in the military so in order to keep the Raiders strong all citizens are borgs to some extent. The Raiders were also able to develop dimensional travel technology and high tech teleporters. the reason i need a homeworld name is this race is the enemy of the Ten G.teleporting to raskas and using their high technology to cause all sorts of trouble for the "gravity freaks"

Gibbson also happens to be the guy that wrote many cyber-punk style novels (not sure if he was the first but is definitely considered the father of the genre).

My question is why you are posting this here instead of in the HU forum?

Do the males just look like flat chested fem's or is it that they all have a female skeleton structure?

All of those things are in the HU setting also.
Bionics are in the HU2main book and the AU:GG.
Multiple alien races and the intriuge are in the HU:AU and the AU:GG books.
superior spaceship construction rules are in the AU:GG book.
and the list goes on....

So you could of just imported the phase adepts in under the psychic power cat. and have the same things you have said you wanted.

Everything but the specifice 3G setting can be found in the HU setting. Even that can be played with the HU setting books.

Yes, all of it requiers more thought proccess then just following forking out the $$ for the next books about the cash cow.

i am accustomed to a md setting i find sdc setting to be a little intimidating. its not that i am willing to learn its just that since i have been playing the game (for like ten years now) it has been mdc. but i have heard over and over and over again that my style of play my choice of characters etc. makes me a heroes unlimited type roleplayer.

Susan.

Alien: "Yes, I'm from planet Susan."
Human: " Don't you mean planet 'Suss-Sahn'?"
Alien: "No, the translator is working fine. It's pronounced 'Susan'. Like the name you give some of your females."
Human: "Well, that's a strange name for a planet."
Alien: "Yours is named 'dirt'. You have a planet in your system with a toxic atmosphere named after a deity of Love & Beauty. Another one, barren & unsettled, named for a deity of War. And another that, if pronounced incorrectly, illicits childish snickering. And one that you 'demoted' because it was barely large enough & too far away. I don't judge."

"#!#"(you try to pronounce it)

And then there's the 'derogatory local name for our armpit of a planet' theme; 'Cesspool', 'Latrine', 'Boneyard', 'Drain's End', 'Dreg-World'(shortened to 'Dreg')...

To be turned over with the Flick of a Finger,
And the Turning of a Page"
