Military Weapon Proficiencies..? What?
In Road Hogs, the Biker background/education says the player gets to select 4 Military Weapon Proficiencies. Anyone have a clue what they're talking about?
The first place I ever remember seeing military WP's is in Rifts. Then it was for things like artillery pieces.

Back then my guess is assault rifles, machine guns, so on so forth may be considered military where now they are just called modern
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree ![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Actually you'd have to look into ATB1 (the main book for road hogs) or Ninja and Superspies.
Artillery, assault rifle, flame thrower, grenade, grenade launcher, infantry missiles, mortar, vehicle mounted weapons are the military weapon WPs listed in N&S.

Back in the original TMNT & Other Strangeness, IIRC, there were three kinds of skills:
Scholastic
Military
Secondary

(Creative but family friendly exclamation here!!) That puts the Biker on the far side of bad assery! I'll have to go back and check my copy of ATB1, but I'm pretty sure it didn't list any skills. Rather it referred the player back to the TMNT main book. The only differences in chargen were the education tables. Hrmmmm. 4 Modern WP's sounds more reasonable for a post apocalyptic setting, but sometimes a typo works out in the PC's benefit.

Sadly I don't have an early copy of TMNT. Only the revised edition. I was gonna buy one from Ebay, but the guy sold it (had a retail store) before my paypal went active.

4 MWPs....My choices: assault rifle, grenades, vehicle mounted weapons and flame thrower.
