Of the ones in the SC book the only small arms that are undetectible by the Invid are M-25, M-46, 37, and the RL-2.

Of those three the M-25 "wolverine" Assault rifle would be my choice. Then the "Badger", then the "Weasel".

As for Energy weapons, I would have to go to the MAsters book and pick the LAR-10 7.62 Laser Assault Rifle.

If I had to choose I'd take the Gallant H-90 from that list but honestly I believe the EP-37 can be used by a person not wearing a cyclone so i would take that if it ere an option.

:/S I think you can change the subject title of the thread but I cannot for the life of remember how...

Being the sort of guy who likes to go through and correct Palladium's numbers to what the original creators set down instead of those seemingly random numbers Palladium comes up with sometimes, I ended up rewriting that section entirely. From an accurate stat set, the guns I'd favor would be the Mars Squadron FAL-2 laser submachine gun and Mars Gallant H90 laser hound... both on the grounds of their exceptional versatility.

The FAL-2's definitely a "Spray and pray" type pistol, but when it can take both its own 100 shot power cell AND the smaller cells the semiautomatic version (SAL-9) uses, at the very least you'll only rarely be hurting for ammo while hosing the nearest Inbit. I'd pick a H90 laser hound for much the same reason (its ability to use more than one power pack type), and its detachable stock extends that capacious little magazine into something that might make the original Henry rifle's boast disturbingly literal... "the gun you can load on Sunday and shoot all week long". (336 shots between reloadings being nothing to sneeze at.)

The EP-37, EP-40, and RL-6 are all supposed to be available to regular infantry use per the 2E RPG. I can see the EP-37 and RL-6, though I'm not sure about the EP-40 (side pod would limit handling I would think).

Which is why I said I'd take the EP-37 if it were an option.
