1st in a series of Mecha Profiles. The Monocle Tactical Recon Corps Battloid. Enjoy! Comments welcome! I am thinking of adding a bunch of stats and such so feel free to list relevant numbers and designations here.

Hm... y'know, I'm not sure what it says about that design that your art looks WAY better than the original Southern Cross line art for that mecha. Nicely done as always.

Ah, the ever-required dig at SC. Classy.

Most wonderful, Elf! Commented more fully on DA :D

i suspect TheElf put more time and effort into his art than the maker of the original line art. given that the mecha was a 'background' one, and mecha was not originally part of the anime's story.

Looking forward to more
I know it is a little extreme to advocate the death penalty for stupidity...but can't we just remove all the warning labels and let nature take it's course???

Beautiful piece, look forward to more mecha profiles. One of the licensees should hire you to make a Robotech mecha & ship art book.

Simply beautiful. Being a member of the Global Military Police has never looked cooler(well, maybe being backup for Nova Satori when she was infiltrating the surfing clubs of New California looking for Robotechnology smuggling ring connections was better, but this comes a close second).

Thanks guys! Your praise is much appreciated. Still I am looking for the generally accepted stats for this Battloid. I know it's a point of contention amongst the members of this forum, but I'd like to list some stats, make sort of a technical sheet for The Cyclops/Monocle, but I do not have the RPG. And I also understand that the RPG (at one time) was a bit inaccurate with this particular ASC "red shirt".

Thanks RT, I'd love to find my way into the inner circle. But no one has asked...

Elf as usual you do the SC more justice than the original artists and not just with this Battloid but your ship and other mecha as well.
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree :D
