Extraordinary/Superior Senses and Perception

Unread post by Bill »

What degree of bonus, if any, should be applied to Perception checks for characters featuring a sense that is described as better than normal in its write-up? I'd prefer a canonical answer, but I'm interested in hearing houserules as well.

I would say that the difficulty level of the perception roll would be altered by one or two steps (IE: a Difficult check (17+) would become a Challenging (14+) or Moderate (8+) check) based upon the increase of the power and what the perception check is used to identify.
The HU Heightened senses powers have fairly detailed percentages listed for various aspects of the powers.

Every group has one problem player. If you cannot spot the one in your group; look in the mirror.
It is not a good session until at least one player looks you in the eye and says "you sick twisted evil ****"
