Possible, Plausible, Appropriate.

FTL = Actually usable as such in appropriate Campaign Setting. Otherwise is simply a Flying one.

Quick Tip: If "over 200" and "over 900" means nothing than you may not be up to date.

If something makes the RPG experience better that's great. If not don't use it.

If not overly informative hopefully it was at least mildly amusing. Munchkin Clown Away! <fwoosh... honk, honk>

*scrunches eyebrows together like random is speaking game-techno-can-english that means nothing w/o an explination of the of what he is talking about W.T.F. he is talking about.*
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

This is an essentially quasi-meta-gaming post.

Twas designed to not foul up any GM campaigns utilizing the original materials referred to via the various abbreviations.

Basically some hidden (on the forums) possible campaign material. These articles themselves were some basic tips for GMs further leading to a campaign location that could be utilized for primarily veteran players starting new characters. Emphasizing heroism, competence, and appropriate power scale. Power Scale article = http://palladium-megaverse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=129640

Ultimately with an intentionally possibly long-winded seeming amount of information which would inherently discourage trolls from attempting to utilize it whilst simultaneously appealing to thorough GMs and possibly veteran players. Further functioning as a kind of veteran player and GM refresher for comprehensiveness as well as blatantly illustrating why comprehensive innovation is necessary regardless of what material is available.

= Even with extreme detail there are apt to still be many tiers of fill in the blanks portions. Were extreme detail actually utilized in the canon books each of those books would be @#$@% huge (1000s of pages each).

Simply ideally increasing the comprehensive challenge and fun of gaming or at least being mildly entertaining.

The entire process as a work in progress and a 'finished' (hehe) work (unlisted) would be able to provide basic examples of processes and content issues pertaining the Common Sense Gaming Disclaimer http://palladium-megaverse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=132650.

These are effectively a neutral / independent series of articles that don't impugn the integrity of Palladium Books, any players, or any GMs. Therefor they have the potential to enable all of the aforementioned to address any overlooked or confounding issues in a productive and mature way. Though ultimately simply promoting appropriate fun via the basic approach of innovation and originality via the philosophy of Possible (technical), Plausible (order of occurrence and availability = vital background story), and Appropriate (multi-dimensional or simply in every way). Anything less would be pointless and a waste of everyone's time.

The combination of which finally leading to productive and appropriate fun.

Since trolls are a waste of their own time and subsequently anyone else's time one of the aspects of the process of presentation and content was designed to weed them out (hehe).

It was also designed to keep any players from stumbling across information that their GM may be using.

Some Basic Highlights:

Advanced: Generic "Advanced" Power scale and versatility from http://palladium-megaverse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=129640.
BBQ: Fearless escape artist and the most self sufficient. MTDJ preferred chef prone to inadvertent comical combat.
Boom: Greatness with silenced or regular guns, and big sonic booms. Aquatic and land sharpshooter.
Boulder: Ranged attacks, with 1 ton+ objects functioning as typically limited ammo higher damage attacks (similar to missile volleys, 'panic button'), unusual speed leaping.
Epic: Some generic "Epic" Power Scale basics particularly at maximum level (P6 Epic variation of P5 Advanced).
Flying: Straightforward and vehicle acquisition specialist. If full Outer Space setting then utilizes full FTL capabilities.
FTL: Outer space capabilities setting usable, good rescue squad combo if grouped with Advanced/Epic and Zap. Confuses the @#%! out of Cosmo-Knights.
Invisible: Straightforward and direct vampire killing capabilities.
Robotic: Tech Empires/Scenario hidden in plain sight infiltrator. Barring a few and usually very minor exceptions limited to land/water speeds.
Shadow: Undead empire infiltrator, light/medium power armor and gigantic vehicle acquisition specialist. CS Pilot #1: "Dude, where's your Death's Head Transport?"
Stone: Totally harmless? or the most dangerous?
Teleport: With the right paired weapons (customized greatest...) and HTH skill + high level = quite possibly the highest damage output of them all.
Tundra: Snow and ice setting just became a lot funnier. Never have the locals been so confused.
Zap: Basic tech/repair monkey (no % tech stat modification ability unless Psi-Tech background, species bonus, Vehicle Armorer skill, etc). Unrelated side note for the truly bored: Monkey Boy Tech (WB13:Lone Star). Tech/Repair Monkey = Sci-Fi version of Grease Monkey (slang for mechanic) http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=grease%20monkey

Panic Button = Very limited amount of ammo or shots, huge quick damage (10+ but preferably 20+ missile volleys, etc), designed to quickly eliminate an extremely dangerous attacker. Otherwise a time to panic is never a time to panic, only to take decisive action.
