They are in the Macross saga. At this point they don't have to go rogue....as long as they can cover up a few of the SAM mishaps. Which they did by putting a dead fellow in the battery before the help arrived. That way it looks as if someone else was in error when shooting the SAMs. .

I dunno. When you start messing with dead bodies, there's no statute of limitations on murder...there's ALWAYS a chance something will up and bite them later.
And there's always "Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead".

Except they didn't kill the guy. They figured out who ever blew up the toilet, and stole the veritech...also killed their other commander "Fat Larry", the two MP's and a private. I forgot to mention that earlier. So after they screwed up with the SAM...they had another private drag the body of the dead private there...to make it look as if someone else besides them were messing with the SAM. So the blame goes on the dead guy (they are hoping).

Anyway I haven't even gotten them to mechas yet, but the gun fights have been epic!

By 'murder' I meant the airliner....and any time there's a dead body(or multiple dead bodies) involved in dark farce like this, there's a chance of a misunderstanding, a plan going somehow wrong. Even if you didn't kill the hooker, all the steps you take to make sure it looks like somebody else DID, just set the Rube Goldberg device that's going to bury you later.

Of course, with a sufficiently Anarchist or Evil aslignment, the PCs can sleep at night, but if even one of them is Good, that SAM mistake is gonna niggle at them, even if they were just standing nearby and watching....

And a Tarantino gunfight with mechs?
Or maybe go John Woo...

This is classic. I'd love to see them in a starship in shadow Chronicles...LOL!
