Earth, after some sort of mild technological-economic collapse, alien invasion light, or temporal hiccup?

Might be earth during the development of the rifts "Golden Age" but not Rifts of the CS not of CE's NEMA.

But a good portion of the bots look starwarsy and having the GA biologists messing with dino DNA before the rifts' coming would explain why there are dino in CS time w/o using the temporal timy whimy shifts.

if i had to guess, temporal oddity.

the first two might explain the mix of modern and future stuff.. but wouldn't explain the Dromaeosaur's, Hadrosaurs, and Tyrannosaur's

Commercial bio-engineering gone over the fence....Big dinoss for cattle(and Tyrannos for rich folk security) and they got loose.
