Kickstarter: Games & Gears Battle Boards

Here is a Kickstarter for Games & Gears Battle Boards. They are hyping it as a game board for use will almost any games including Robotech RPG Tactics.

i would love the drop zone commander set but looks like i will have to wait till after this comes out in stores

I've been wavering on an early bird. I don't really want to spend another $100 at the moment, but I'd also really like to have a collapsible board solution for playing now and then at home.

What is the circular thing?

not sure what the circle is for could be for a round building or fountain or statue area would be my guess

I have the Hawk cityscape and right now there are no round buildings in that set.

true no round buildings in that set was just saying what it could be used for and now i have to try and make a round building

not tough. Tape two sides of a piece of cardstock together the landscape way. Then attack circular roof.

One could put a fountain in there, or make it a 'skate park', or some other sort of urban gathering area of some sort. Not necessarily circular like this, but I can think of a half dozen open venues like that within a few blocks of work right now here in the downtown core.

I'd probably put a giant gargoyle from Heroquest in there. Gotta give those Battlepods something to mull over while the VTs are getting into place.

A Statue or Fountain are about what I expected though I could see a stage, band shell, or something depending on how big it actually is.
