How many buy human looks
When you play, and you roll do you even buy human looks we had a player who played a lion who rolled up a ninja background he end up being more like sabertooth then simba
So how many people do buy human looks partial, or full?

Re: How many buy human looks
I never do, kind of defeats the purpose of playing a mutant animal making it look human.
Fair warning: I consider being called a munchkin a highly offensive slur and do report people when they err in doing so.

It's 'canon', not 'cannon'. A cannon is a big gun like on pirate ships, canon is what you mean when referring to something as being contained within one of the books such as how many dice to roll for a stat.

Depends on my concept.
DM is correct by the way. - Ninjabunny
It's a shoddy carpenter who blames his tools. - Killer Cyborg
Every group has one problem player. If you cannot spot the one in your group; look in the mirror.
It is not a good session until at least one player looks you in the eye and says "you sick twisted evil ****"

I agree with Nightmask. I don't think I've ever spent a single Bio-E point on human looks. The closest I've ever gotten to anything with human looks is a Gorilla.

I can't say I've 'never' done it. I've made... 100s and 100s of Mutant animal characters. (a small percentage were played but even those likley number in the 100s.)
So at some point in the past I'm sure I've done so, to fit some special concept.
I'd have to say it's less than a half a percent though. I'm with the others, if I want to play a mutant animal I'm playing a mutant animal. So I'd say 99.5% of the time I do -not- buy human looks.

Lt. Nyota Uhura: I'm impressed. For a moment there, I thought you were just a dumb hick who only has sex with farm animals.

Never bought human looks either. Kinda ruins the whole mutant animal thing.
Re: How many buy human looks
I vaguely remember doing it once. The character was a seductress and it's hard to seduce someone if they think you're another species...
This would have been a long time ago...probably early 90's.

I don't care about canon answers. I'm interested in good, well-reasoned answers and, perhaps, a short discussion of how that answer is supported or contradicted by canon.
If I don't provide a book and page number, then don't assume that I'm describing canon. I'll tell you if I'm describing canon.

I made a Margay for a Heroes Unlimited game that was full human looks, mostly for the PB bonus. She was part of the same program that created Kilgrave the Parrot from Century Station.

It really depends on my character concept.
