I'm somewhat like that to. Don't like all they did with the cyclone, in its running speed and Hth combat, so they are both bumped back up to closer to the 1st ed. Also didn't like how they nurfed some of the ships weapons and/or eliminated them, so switch them back the 1st ed.

I am personally disinclined to use Sketchley's stats. I have my own (which though biased I feel are more accurate) and this includes Macross II.
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree
