So I'm making some excel based character sheets that will perform some calculations when the various attributes are entered and I'm working on carry and lift calcs based on strength. I decided that using nested IF statements wasn't worth the effort and am just making different sheets for different strength categories. I know that the Palladium strength levels are pretty messed up. I've got a question about this.
In the Rifts main Book, Rifts GMG, and RUE I cannot find the lifting amounts for augmented strength, is it the same as normal (strong) human? ie 17 and higher can carry PSx20 in lbs and lift twice that? Or twice that (I seem to remember something about this but cannot find it. Am I crazy or is there some reference of Juicers, crazies or any augmented human being twice as strong as a normal human?)
And has the Robot strength of PSx25 for BOTH carry and lift been fixed anywhere so that its x25 carry and then twice that for lift like it should be? Its still this way in RUE and makes no sense to me.
Need some help on the various levels of strength.

Augmented strength itself gives no bonus to lift/carry, but a couple of the O.C.C.'s that provide it do have a multiplier to that amount (such as Juicers and Dog-Boys). I never noticed the robit strength issue you mention but if I recall correctly giant robots whose P.S. is 40 or more have lift/carry amounts of x200/x100. Also R:UE gives a 30% bonus to lift/carry for every 5 P.S. points above 30.

Where is this multiplyer listed in juicers? I looked at them in RMB and Juicer Uprising but only found fluff text that says they are 10 times faster strong etc. which is BS.

It's in the Juicer O.C.C. write-up in Rifts: Ultimate Edition.

Only there? well thats why I didn't find it. I largely ignore RUE.Glistam wrote:It's in the Juicer O.C.C. write-up in Rifts: Ultimate Edition.
Thanks for the heads up. Too bad they didn't use RUE to fix the stupid robots can lift AND carry P.S. x 25 Lbs. When ALL other strength levels (categories whatever you call them) have carry x 2 as the lift amount.
EDIT: WTH? its under the super endurance section rather than the PS thats dumb dumb dumb. PE has nothing to do with how MUCH you can lift or carry. (note its in the original juicer write up too but I never found it because I was looking in the fluff text and in the PS section)
Also 4 times the normal human? what the hell thats more than a SN PS
Normal human is x10 for strength up to 16 then 17 and over are x20, x4 on that and thats x40 and x80 (double for lift)
SN PS is x10 up to 17 then 18 and over is x50 (double for lift)
Broken...

Then in HU there are five different types of PS.
Normal PS
Extrodinary PS
Superhuman PS
SuperNat. PS
Robotic PS
The first one it the same as PS in all the settings, and the Ex. SH, SN PS's being gotten from superpowers.
