Re: Which Palladium RPG Is Your Favorite?
Since I have to pick just one, I'll choose Heroes Unlimited. It was the game that hooked me on Palladium.

RIFTS but I want to put SPLICERS as 2nd and HU 3rd...only one option is just not fair!!!
P.S.: Actually, SPLICERS with only 1/4 of the material that RIFTS got, could become my number 1.

Rifts. Even with dozens of books so much still left to explore. IT got me hooked on Roleplaying not just Palladium. Even though I had the old SW rpg (I used it more for my personal storytelling than roleplaying) and Top Secret SI, and had read Shadowrun and Ninja's and Superspies, Rifts is what got me going.
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree

Rifts.
It was an easy choice really considering you can only choose one and Rifts is pretty much the sum of everything else on the list.
Also... What is Valley of the Pharaohs? I have never even heard of that one.

I know of it, but have never played it (or read the rule book, etc.). So I can't give more details than that, but hopefully that helps. Thank you for your time and patience, please have a nice day. Farewell and safe journeys for now.

Palladium Fantasy. Rifts (especially 3G) is a very close second. Then Robotech after that.

BTW, you left System Failure off your list.
Re: Which Palladium RPG Is Your Favorite?
I chose Robotech just because I'm on a major mecha kick right now and that's what I'm playing at the moment, but honestly Robotech, Rifts, BTS and NB are all my favourites and it's hard to choose which I like better.

Choose Heroes myself. I recently got back into it with my kids. Great fun.

Actually, I would love to see the results WITHOUT RIFTS.

I'd like a poll minus whatever are the top 2 from this poll.
I really enjoy Rifts, but I can't say that my Nightbane or Mechanoids sessions were less awesome.

Robotech, my first love! Got me going on this crazy train that is Palladium. But, ya, that is kind of a tough choice after that. It is all good! Going to collect them all!

Re: Which Palladium RPG Is Your Favorite?
Rifts. With Nightspawn being second. That's right I said it, what are you going to do about it McFarlane because that's what is says on the cover of my book! lol
I like Chaos Earth as well, I've read Dead Reign and would like to play it, after heavily modifying it though and I think after reading a few of the books I'm going to give Palladium Fantasy a try, same with Beyond the Supernatural.
It's weird I like super heroes but HU didn't really appeal to me as much as I thought it would, I liked it but would pick Rifts over HU every time.
As for the rest on the list I can't comment on because I've never played them, other than saying I would probably never play Robotech, Macross II (simply because giant mecha isn't really my cup of tea, I don't even really use them in Rifts other then as NPC villains) or Ninjas and Superspies (I would use Rifts Japan for that).

Agreed.
Re: Which Palladium RPG Is Your Favorite?
So far the breakdown is pretty much as I imagined it would be. Rifts first, then Fantasy, then Robotech and HU. Though I did think Nightbane would be up there with HU. Interesting.

I chose chaos earth because it feels like what rifts used to be, not the glittering apocalypse it is now. I still enjoy rifts now though without a doubt.

Re: Which Palladium RPG Is Your Favorite?
Definitely Rifts. The setting is superb and it's the game that got me into role playing. A close second though would have to go to Beyond the Supernatural. I just love creepy, paranormal things.

Had to vote Rifts, but Nightspawn is very cool, and PFRPG is really a cool system that combines a good setting and class setup.

RIFTS. But second would be BtS 2nd ed IF the two missing books come out so until that time PFRPG 2nd ed is 2nd place.

Honestly, I have to say Rifts for the simple fact that it's the first Palladium game I was exposed to. Coming from games like D&D and BESM, something as varied as Rifts Earth was a breath of fresh air.
I write so much, I think my wrists just fell out.
Re: Which Palladium RPG Is Your Favorite?
Rifts for sure, I love guns and robots and power armors above all else.
Palladium Fantasy second, I think I genuinely have more fun playing PF, but Rifts is just cooler.
Man, so much love for splicers on this board and I have never played, or seen it...
