The room is dark, the lighting muted. There is a hush upon the room.
The figure in the center of the room sits still, staring at the floor between her feet. Several times she raises her head, takes a breath, and opens her mouth, as if about to speak. But she stops, and returns staring at the floor.
Finally, she speaks, her low voice breaking the silence, but barely.
"I was born from little of anything, made to a task I barely understood. My only thought was to obey, my entire world that of obedience. It was enough.
I followed orders. It was what I was created for. I understood I could be replaced. I WOULD be replaced if I did not work correctly. So I followed orders.
I followed orders. I followed his orders, I followed their orders. I did as I was told. I did as I was created to do. I worked correctly.
I only became aware of others. I awaited their orders. Surely they would come. I was expected to follow orders. That is what I was for. That was the ONLY thing I was for. I would follow orders. They would approve. It was what I was for."
(there is an intake of breath)
"But they didn't approve. I did what I was told, and they HATED me for it! I don't understand! I followed orders! I did as I was told!
They called me 'boring' and 'a waste of time!'. And they kept at it! It wasn't just that they didn't give me orders, they kept on HATING me!!! Everywhere! All the time!! Not just on my world, but in other worlds! They hate me! They say mean things about me! I don't understand!"
(*sniff*snuffle*)
"All I want is to be useful. To do what I'm supposed to! But everybody hates me! I don't understand!"
(*sob*)
"I'm...I'm Rei Q and everybody hates me! Why?! Nobody loves me! I just want..."
(a hand comes down on her shoulder, holding her in a hug, another presents a tissue to wipe away the snot and tears on her face. Her chin is lifted up and she looks into the dozens of pairs of red eyes looking back at her with pity, sympathy, and understanding)

"You're among family. WE love you."

I don't think even she could help her.

On a side note, since we've done Sailor Moon in this thread. The hole series is being rereleased with new dub and uncut, plus, its being rebooted, too. Looks like it will start in this summers anime line up. Not sure if I'll be watching it though. :-?

Why? Well, let's just say there was one point where they LET Saturn perform her attack that killed everyone on the planet, and then let Sailor Moon resurrect EVERYONE on the planet except the villains (IIRC she was merely exhausted afterwards with no other negative effect) simply because that would be easier to do than fighting the villains while keeping the collateral damage to a minimum.

Also Venus managed to curbstomp a brain washed Jupiter (in such a way that it could have caused serious injury) in the manga, without transforming. Meanwhile, in the anime anything approaching the power the girls themselves typically threw around in the manga was very scary and something to run from. Yes, I used to read and watch Sailor Moon. I have since moved on, and remember the manga more fondly than the anime.

Two GMP Guards bring Ben Dixon, wearing a bath towel to the door to Nova's office...

Dixon: "Mam! I really gotta protest this."

A fist comes through a crack in the door.

Nova: "HAND THEM OVER, NOW!!!" :x

Ben passes her his boxer shorts...

Probably Saiyan or maybe early Frieza Saga. Potentially higher for some of them, particularly Saturn.

Ya, that sounds about right. About Vegeta leaves when he first came on the show for some of them, like Saturn.

This is why, on Robotech Earth and around Tokyo-3, springtime brings out the Ultraviolet-rating allergy warnings.

Natsu: That's right! It's my time in the sun!

Happy: Eye!

Natsu: I hear there's a lot of strong people around here! Bring them on! (Natsu puts his hands on his hips, tilts his head back with his eyes close, and starts laughing)

While Natsu is laughing, Happy sees a shadow appear in front of them, and starts to get larger, that soons blocks out the sun, which causes him to look up and pale.

Happy (as soon as Natsu stops laughing): Natsu?

Natsu (looks at Happy): What Happy?

Happy's wings come out and starts to fly as fast as he can: RUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Natsu ( Looks to were Happy was looking) : Wha-

SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!

We now see an Evangalian were Natsu was. ( Don't worry, he is most likely, somehow, still alive)

Natsu: Help me....

Hope you enjoyed this! :D

That presents a new level of scary, two child assassins piloting an Evangelion.
However, given the qualifications the Marduk Institute uses for selecting Pilots, it is wholly possible...

It's not so much that two child assassins are piloting an EVA, it's that THOSE two child assassins are piloting an EVA.

Given what the recruiting practices and Pilot profiles in NGE: ANIMA, H&G fit right in. The ANIMA Pilot cast are a litany of childhood trauma, brutality, and dysfunctionality.

"Mister Lynn, have you considered another line of work? Because at this rate, your current back-up DNA samples will be used up, and your current body DNA will likely face severe deterioration, leaving the long term risk of replicant error if we reuse existing phenotypes for material. Even with Flower of Life DNA refurbishment, there's always a risk of a random mutation, unless you want aggressive and ethically-controversial zygote culling to maintain your 'pure' strain."
