Lois Lane: "So, Nova, how do you plan to control the antics of the Fourth Wall Gang."

Nova: "I got the most deviously evil people in the ROBOTECH Universe to deal with it."

Nova and Lois turn as Minmei, Sammie, Octavia, Allegra and Musica enter the room.

Nova & Lois: "Well?"

Sammie: (Speaking for the group) "We got the Fifth Wall Gang on it." :demon:

In rooms around the Multiverse ... various people jump back from their keyboards and look back over their shoulders nervously.

That's a whole lot of engineering going into a whole lot of nothing in that. The mathematics on the stress factors of the suspenders alone would make an MIT undergrad weep.

amish know how to survive in a post-technological world. and they're willing to teach others to farm, build, etc. so surviving amish (and similar groups) would end up the core of any community that forms in their area.

I imagine that there were probably a few anti-technology movements after the Rain of Death...after all, alien technology got us into this mess, so the reasoning goes that we might be spared further trouble if we don't have any technology the aliens might be interested in. Irrational, yes, but the 'back to basic living' folks did manage to survive without a big tech infrastructure holding their hands, and in some areas actually helped the recovery. Their philosophy seemed to be borne out by the 2nd Robotech War, where the Tirolians seemed to concentrate on cities and technology infrastructure(ignoring the fact that the Tirolans, if successful, would eventually get around to enslaving/exterminating the outliers.
So the Invid Occupation saw the Amish-like groups spreading their teachings and skills to the many refugees fleeing the big cities and hiding in the outlands. After all, Leonard and his crowd with all their fancy technology couldn't defend the Earth, so obviously we were doing something wrong. With the Invid stomping out robotechnology(and any obvious high-tech) or foisting Protoculture dependence on the cooperative tech enclaves, avoiding it seemed to be an attractive way to avoid trouble.
The 'Amish-style' becomes both a way of 'head-in-the-sand'ing it to survive the Occupation, but the more realistic-minded might have seen it as a way of resistance without sending up any obvious red flags to the Invid. The Amish(ite) communities might have been passing messages for the resistance and hiding Fleet personnel(provided they divested themselves of their high tech gear when staying in their communities). True, they aren't 100% below the radar of the Invid, and they likely see a good number of their people taken away to the Flower farmsm but for the most part they don't cause trouble and don't draw undue attention to themselves like the bigger communities do.
At some point the Regis might have noticed these distinctive humans(by their dress and their behavior when patrols came around their residences) and decides to find out more, so she orders some of her evolved kids to scope them out, or at least disguise themselves like them to see how the other humans react.

The Waltrips already did a swimsuit edition issue for the Sentinels comic book...quite amusing and an equal opportunity exposer(they did the men too). Breetai in a speedo, Burak in cargo shorts.

The Waltrips already did a swimsuit edition issue for the Sentinels comic book...quite amusing and an equal opportunity exposer(they did the men too). Breetai in a speedo, Burak in cargo shorts.

Like I said, it was fair to both sexes. Breetai looked like he could swim the Atlantic. Kazianna looked fetching in her cargo net bikini.

But they played Burak for yucks; he looks decidedly NOT happy, with crossed arms and grumpy expression, though about the swimsuit shot or just everything in general is up for contention.

I'm starting to lose track of the lore.

Meanwhile in a back alley in Tokyo 3...

Taalismn: (Looking at the hole in 4th Wall, now guarded by several heavily armed EVAs) "Well, we ain't getting out that way."

Arnie100: (Tending his wounds) "How are we going to survive? ... And get money for medical treatment?"

SRoss: (Standing by a semi full of Protoculture, counting a huge wad of cash) "I got this."

Alpha 11: "What did you do?"

SRoss: "I sold Minmei and Musica's panties on E-Bay[sup]tm[/sup]."

Meanwhile ... in Kyle's room...

Kyle: (Rubbing panties against his face) "Oooooohhh ... baby..."

So absorbed, he fails to notice Minmei pointing a big-assed shotgun at the back of his head.

... In Karno's quarters...

Karno fails to hear Musica, her sisters and Bowie coming up behind them.

... In Edward's room...

Edwards is interrupted in the midst of rubbing what he thinks are Minmei's panties...

Alethia: :x :x :x THOSE ARE MINE!!! :x :x :x

Chronicler: "What did you do with the Bridge Bunnies' panties?"

... In Dr. Lang's secret room...

Lang: "Vhat? I can't have a private life too?"

Taalismn: "And where did all that Protoculture come from?"

SRoss: "Weeeeeelllll...."

Cut to an Invid Scout, intently studying one of a huge pile of panties...

At this point the lore is rather flexible.
The original UEsG cast have kinda faded into the background while still searching for the lost SDF-3(aside from occasional cameos and the occasional appearance and incarceration of various avatars of Sailor Pluto trying to set things in favor of Crystal Tokyo).
Meanwhile, the Bloopers versions of the original cast seem to have taken over, or at least spawned godling-level avatars of themselves to wreak even more havoc across space/time. or just play really long games of 'World of Tanks'. Or still commenting on the novelty of alternate versions of T.R. Edwards and Ikari Gendo who AREN'T total ********.

That is kind of sad though, LOVE the stories. Mean while, with T.R. Edwards...

Edwards comes to and looks around and sees he's in a deserted city, or just this part of the city is deserted. He hears a loud boom, and looks behind him, to see 2 VERY large monsters fighting each other. One looking kind of like a large green lizard. The large green lizard back, which as bone like objects stinking out of it glows white and it opens his mouth and a large white beam shots out of it at the other monster. Unfortinitly, it only grazes the monster. And he then realizes that, way to late, that he is in the direct line of fire for the rest of the beam. The last thing he see's is a bright white light coming at him...

Lisa: Number 1184, killed by Godzilla's Atomic breath attack, check. (I think that's what's called.)

Buzz Crackle and all non military emp hardened electronics within a 180 meter sphere are fried (and all military ones within 60M sphere have to at the very least reboot)
Megarea Looks at her and says no no you are doing it all wrong, you either need a Industrial compost shredder (pulls out a 4x4x2meter box labeled in star wars Basic chars "compost processor warning do not insert any sentient beings, or organics you have any attachment to" )

or if you are really trying to hide the evidence this works a lot better Megarea then pulls out a box that says Climate processing equipment do not remove under penalty of statute (number) Property of Starfleet with the right logos. she then looks into the briefcase she just pulled both items out of and mutters now where did .... AH there it is, and sets the briefcase on the table and reaches in up to her shoulder, and pulls out a st TNG hand phaser and after turning on the atmosphere processor and cranking it up, uses the phaser to disintegrate the body. "See this is why some people call this a 'Poof Soot Gun' heh."
anyway have a great day! and she packs her boxes back into the briefcase.

Actually I think missing panties go to one of the sub-dimensions of the Hose Zone, that mysterious realm where one half of a pair of socks vanishes to.
