Zombies, Zombies, and more Zombies.
If you have all of the Dead Reign books, then you know there
are a LOT of different Zombies, and variant Zombies.
In fact, there are well over 120 different Zombies that can be created.
So how do we keep track?
I do not know about anyone else, but I needed something that made it a little
easier than surfing through 5 books. So I created my own Zombie tables.
Now I can have any of the over 120 different zombies, randomly. And
100% Available down to complete stats, skills, and unique abilities.
All on three double sided pieces of paper.
How does everyone else do it...

I just write up one zombie of each type on one piece of paper and use that for reference.

If you look at the variant descriptions, they can be applied to most
of the basic Zombie types.
I made a table of the basic Zombies, modified by the variants,
and it adds up fast.
I will be using them for one of my games I am running at Gen Con.

Is the variant thing in one of the later books? So it's a multiplier?

The variants are throughout all the books.
Just as an example, You can have a pretty sloucher, or a pretty thinker, etc. etc.

Re: Zombies, Zombies, and more Zombies.
Hello...
Even when considering the books - I am definitely looking forward to the next sourcebook, Dead Reign Sourcebook 5: Graveyard Earth. I haven't figured out what it may be like yet, but that sourcebook has a "Level of Zombie Threat Table" that may be pertinent to this thread. With the encounter tables available in the book, it would present what the zombie threat looks like around the world, even though there may not be any new zombie types in the book. Anyway, please take care; thanks a bunch, and have a good day.
