Re: useful zombie vech. ?
Hello...
Nice! Those look like fun items for a zombie apocalypse shopping list Trent.
Anyway, I remember reading something recently in a new book at Barnes & Noble which involved the construction of Bug Out Vehicles (BOVs). One guy made a series of plans that would get him to wherever he needed to get to safely. It involved five vehicles, of which four of them were man-powered and were loaded onto his CUCV-style truck...
* Plan A would necessitate a motorized bug out via his truck.
* Plan B would involve the use of a mountain bike with a trailer.
* Plan C would entail removing the trailer (Which was in fact based off of a deer cart), and pulling it to his destination.
* Plan D would require a bug out by foot, using a Bug Out Bag (BOB)and supply caches along his evacuation route.
* Still, there was a sort of Plan E that would use a canoe loaded on the top of his truck should he have to evacuate via waterway.
Every plan was "nesting," meaning that Plan A, for example, would have access to all the equipment on the truck, while Plan C, for instance, would be limited to what he could haul on his deer cart, and so on. Usually in the case that he would have to resort to a secondary plan, he would cache the supplies loaded on the stranded vehicle and haul what he could to his safe haven, placing the cached supplies "in reserve" should he need it in the future.[sup]1[/sup] But anyway, please take care; thanks a bunch, and have a good day.

It may be great off road but it's got no protection. Zombies can easily get at you if you find yourself in a bind.

I am a maintainance man at a truck stop and see some interesting things . Yesterday i saw a striker APC in the 8 wheel configuration on a flat bed trailer . Whats strange was it had no escort and was not on a military truck . It was not stripped down hardware and there is no mech units anywhere near here . Even the police thought the whole thing was odd . Either way it would be nice to have in dead reign .

Same can be said for mortorcycles . Just watch for blind and ambush spots and plan ahead . Not saying its the only vech to have . But great for safe haven patrol vech . Pluse you can always enhance it

Hello...
Interesting... it would be a good deus ex machina to have in a Dead Reign campaign, if it works of course. Bonus points to the person or persons who can get the weapons working...
Motorcycles are a great survival vehicle to have, because you can get through tight spaces that cars or even ATVs can't. While one wouldn't want to ride between two lanes full of zombie-packed automobiles, it would be effective as long as you're ride safe and drive safe. And we are in agreement that motorcycles are always upgradable - especially if used for patrol, escort, and other purposes.
Good to see that you agree Trent. Having several backup plans is a must in a world that has fallen into chaos - as they say: "Two is one and one is none..." Still, I have to go, so please take care; thanks a bunch, and have a good day.

Hello...
And don't forget this classic list at http://www.silverbearcafe.com/private/01.09/apocalyptic.html Tirisilex! Sure the EM-50 doesn't exist in real life (Not to mention that my focus is on the real ones, not those that are from different pieces of fiction...), but I think that most of them would be quite useful. In addition, a good source of cool vehicles is Recoil Magazine. The magazine's a little expensive (But available on Google Play... ), but each issue includes an article on customized vehicles, and some are even armed (My favorite was the Ranger Special Operations Vehicle clone - complete with a M134 minigun and two M240 machine guns! ). Feel free to check it out, and please take care; thanks a bunch, and have a good day.
