Thanks, Love to paint and do the hobby stuff. Since most of my painting has been the same colors for the next few tutorials I'm going to try to get closer pictures so you can see how the paints layer a bit better.

Very nicely done Pythdamion. I do have a question about your choice of primers through. Black is a very hard color to cover have you considered using white or even grey? I think you could get a nice two coat coverage with the lighter primer and you would have to paint less layers as you try and build up your colors. Of course with a lighter primer you would have to line your miniatures to make up for the absence of dark recesses.

I primed my first box in black out if habit, usually I paint minis in darker colors. My next box I'll probably prime white for Zentradi and light brown for UEDF

I use testors plastic cement, 3501. I'm going to do some build tutorials but it may not be out for a week.

With my first batch of Zentraedi, I did an aluminum under coat, then did a light spray of white overtop. It kind of gives it a shiny, dirty white look. Once I have them all assembled and base-coated, I will go through and do the other colors. Since I like my colors bright, I will probably use Ultramarine Blue and gunbarrel gray for the gunbarrels.
