I wouldn't post anything like this unless you make the vote candidates vary.

Re: The most beautiful women in Robotech!
Apparently someone has an unhealthy fixation on a cartoon character.

I know it is a little extreme to advocate the death penalty for stupidity...but can't we just remove all the warning labels and let nature take it's course???

the last time a beauty contest was this close.. it involved a golden apple, a Trojan prince, and kicked off a war between the two greatest powers of the ancient Aegean.
also.. i thought Ariel/Marlene looked pretty good before the update. and no Musica? or Maia Sterling?

Chronicler: I liked Ariel before the redesign.
Tommy: What? Everyone likes big ti- assets.
Chronicler: Well yes, it's a psychological thing with us guys, but me and my friends are getting tired of big anime women. Most of them don't have personality, or they are to young to even have them.
Tommy: But otaku want that kind of thing.
Chronicler: No, Japanese otaku want that. The American otaku are getting tired of that sh@t. We want things like Legend of Korra, or Kill La Kill.
Tommy: But one of them isn't even anime!
Chronicler: Because it's written by Americans?
Tommy: Because it's written by Americans.
Chronicler: Then what's Robotech?
Tommy:...... F!@# you.

I mean unless you were born with that spear stuck in your backside, talk about gluteus ouchimas. I'd like to say it was tit-for-tat but I think she just gave you a big pr1ck for being one.

Re: The most beautiful women in Robotech!
Learna (Garudan), Teal (Spherian) and Crysta (Kabaren) walk in.
Learana (vader-ish voice due to the air mask): What's the big hoopla about?
Teal (after a few seconds of listening): they appear to be arguing over who is the best looking woman in Robotech
Crysta: That would have to be me. Who doesn't love teddy bears?
Teal: I don't age. What you see is what you get.
Learana: Some how I think we're not even going to be considered except by those with very odd tastes.
W/n the series/comcis. Not going to debate the issue from those sources. Within the RPG, at least the 1E, Praxians PB is 5d6 (so typical would be 15-16 IINM) compared to humans who are 3d6 (so typical would be 9-12, yes humans get the bonus dice rolls, but those would be far from typical). So in terms of looks, by the RPG (1E I admit), Praxians should outscore human females more often.

Re: The most beautiful women in Robotech!
the poll is trending correctly... Lisa was so ugly her nickname was Snaggle-face and She threw her self at a guy half-her age in hopes his head wounds from the time she nearly killed him would affect him a bad way... and luckly for her is did addle his mind so that he took to letting wash his dishes and clean his house, and when his much prettier ex came back into the situation, he attempted to retain her services as a maid, even though the city was being destroyed.... still, she was so undesierable that Rick waited until she was in her 50's to try to have a baby with her... knowing that all the single women were trapped on earth out of the reach of his desires to procreate.....
This is why a Dude is winning the poll...

Actually he's winning because Macross is the best series.

Gotta go with Kyle here....after his castration, his entire attitude and voice changed, and especially after his effort to avoid Minmei's drug-fueled chainsaw rampage pursuit across Hong Kong forced him to take shelter and improvised disguise in a female revue show, desperation leading to arguable performance brilliance under pressure.

There is not much difference between the Org. Macross series and RT.
Some points that are different are....the spies were drinking beer not punch, and Roy Folker's cabin had swimsuit posters hanging on the walls and Claudia went to his cabin to 'celebrate'

There was a shower scene in Macross somewhere too.
However, a good portion of the followup macross series were better then the other series spliced up into RT. my fav. two were Plus and Frontier.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

(Yah, the pineapple salad was what did him in in both.)
There was a shower scene in Macross somewhere too.
There are differences that are a lot more significant than that... the entire backstory, the fates of the cast, and so on.

hummm...should of prefixed with something...*shrugs*
The word protoculture means something totally different in each....and the difference is at the core of the backstory differences. However, the core story is not much different between the two.
