I love your blog and read it all the time. I do have one slight correction this time however. Prion Galar, Though I agree is worth every point against a unit of Phalanx only boosts speed for free one time.
Why are they using such primative weapons?

Re: 450 pt Zentraedi army and thoughts on the Pod Swarm
After playing several games with my pod swarm, I've noticed that your command points quickly drop off to zero if you lose your Glaugs and Recon pods early. Some more games need to be played...but when that happens it's pretty much over for the Zentraedi fairly quickly..with only close formation really providing any benefit. Anyone else run into this issue? So for me, taking multiples of a recon squadron then adding more pods to it gives you the multiple Glaugs and recon pods you need for redundancy and also to bump your command points up significantly.

make sure your guarding your command mecha with layers of ablative meat aka battlepods. keep several within close formation distance so you can take advantage of it's damage redirecting ability in addition to the life is cheap one..

Still reading through the rules. Can you target any mecha in range despite there being 20 pods in front of or surrounding more valuable mecha?

no mecha can still block line of sight.

Re: 450 pt Zentraedi army and thoughts on the Pod Swarm
the only mecha that do not block line of sight are ones from a mecha's own squadron (that is, a core squadron with any attached special and support cards)
every other does.. including your own mecha from another squadron.
so as long as the gluag stays behind his squadron's regults, the gluag will be blocked from enemy LOS, but can still fire through the pods at the enemy. (it's assumed the mecha of a squadron are co-ordinating to allow for such shots..)
