For discussion of the Palladium Open House, both past (May 2006 & May 2007) and possible future Open Houses. Who's going, games you're running or looking to play, etc.

Yeah it sucks... The one time I actually have vacation days saved up for the trip and I cant seem to gather enough funds to pay for the whole weekend.
Would you need a hotel, because I think there was someone who was asking here if anyone wanted to share a room, and split the cost of one. Plus, you got several more months, surely you could save enough money for at least the weekend pass. Or are things that bad?

Just bought my Open House tickets for the weekend! I'm not planning on attending the special Thursday night dinner though. I went to the Comfort Inn website to try and book my room but the site didn't take the group code. Is that something I can only do over the phone, or did I not do it right on the site?

Well, bad news for me. 2 friends who are brothers that said they would come, but then the older one went and is now going to be doing spring classes at the local collage, and his finals are during the time period of the OH. And the younger one might not come, because the older one might not, because he likes doing things with his brother. Of course, he did that after I ask him, he said yes, gave me money to buy week end and VIP tickets. He seems to not think long term and or forgets things then commits to other things that guarantees he will miss what he first promises.
Bought my VIP ticket back when they were first released. I thought the $85 included the weekend pass. I realized my mistake pretty quickly, but waited until today to buy the weekend pass and book my airplane ticket. Hotel was reserved back when I purchased the VIP ticket.
I have been playing Palladium since about 1989, but haven't really played anything in years. One of my old gaming buddies booked today too, so I wont be there completely alone
Looking forward to playing some games, meeting new people and having a good time!

Picked up my VIP Thursday ticket the first week they went on sale back in August. Picked up the Weekend pass the other day. I was at the 2007 POH and had a great time, even though I had a HD crash a couple of days before that affected my scheduled games. Thankfully, as I expected, everyone was cool as ice, and I had a fabulous time. I can't wait to see everyone again!

Alright this is my first con of any sort so i have a question. My buddy ordered tickets online and we got a receipt in the mail. Is that the ticket or should we be expecting actual tickets with our names on them to show up

I don't think they will be giving actual tickets this time. They did give tickets/certificts for the 2010 one, but not the 2012 one, IIRR. They will have a list at the door, with name tags.
