Sketch Commissions Now Open - For Open House Attendees

Unread post by Apollo Okamura »

FOR PALLADIUM OPEN HOUSE ATTENDEES ONLY!

Having dealt with spinal injuries over the past year has left monetary funds rather lacking...

So, for a limited time, I'm opening up character sketch commissions for those that will be attending the Palladium Open House!

For $20 (US), have an 8.5" x 11" character sketch created in advance, for you to pick up at the event, and help me see you, in person, at the show!

If you're interested, check out my site for details!

Glad to see your alright. What happened to your old webpage with the art? I miss it. Ever fix that Blind Warrior Woman with the misshaped tush you were doing for the swimsuit edition prior to POH '09?

:) just kidding, about the BWW not you feeling better.

Thanks!

My old site is still there-ish. Just underneath the banner there's links to the old site... I really need to update that, LOL.

I never did finish the BWW illustration. Not sure where it went, heh.

Hmm, I can understand the banner not showing up on mobile devices (being Flash), odd that the text links don't show up though.
And yeah, just tried it myself, with my phone. Silly Blogger. :-?

Then again, my old site was made in Flash as well, so iOS devices are also out of luck there. :(

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get enough sketch commissions to cover the costs for the Palladium Open House.
Huge thanks to everyone that requested a sketch!
I'll be mailing out all current commissions.

Hope everyone there has a blast!!

Greetings and Salutations. I'd order one right now, but somehow don't think one more will tip the balance.

Thanks Prysus,

If only... Was able to only get about 25% of what my minimum would've been.
Ah well... I tried.

I don't know if it'd be good form for me to say an exact number; but at 25%, let's just say, it wouldn't have been enough to even cover the cost of gasoline.

So yeah, pretty bummed. I think this is the third Open House I've missed. :-(

Looks like I didn't check this part of the forum until too late. Have you stopped doing commissions?

Unfortunately, for now...
Guess the idea was that Open House attendees could've gotten requests in advance, and I'd have them ready for the event (no shipping required).
Alas, I wasn't able to get enough commissions to cover the costs for me to attend.

I may open up commissions again later on, but of course, I'd have to charge shipping as well.

So yeah, for now, I'm not taking any more requests.

I wanted to do advance commissions but I was busy trying to finish up a couple jobs before I left I didn't get the chance. Though I did finish with a couple days to spare. Though do think my sales got a bump due to a lack of Apollo... ;)
