New Conventional UEDF Forces Organizaiton?

Unread post by mdauben »

In the recent update over the weekend, it was announced that they are adding some "conventional" forces to the UEDF. I'd love to order some of these but there's one problem, I'm not sure what the organizaiton of these units will be? We know how many Valkyries or Destroids are in a core squadron and how the support selections work in building our units. How about the Helicopter, Tank, Vehicle and Infantry units? How many vehicles in a "squadron"? How many infantry figures should go on a base, and how many bases make up a "squadron" (I use squadron as I'm not sure what unit name(s) they will use for these conventional forces.)

I'm asking so I have some idea how many miniatuers to order in order to have a "legal" force. :?

Thanks!
Mike

while they are named "defenders of earth" i suspect that many of these will also be of malcontent affiliation as well. certainly the T-55's would be a very weird choice if they were UEDF. (T-55's are basically WW2 technology.. nearly 60 years old by the time the SDF-1 crashes. they are however common as dirt and used by nearly everyone in Africa, the middle east, and asia.. all areas where you'd expect a lot of malcontent activity. bandits or warlords getting ahold of numbers of T-55's and keeping them running is not all that unbelievable.)

So, no one knows how these units are organized? I guess I'll just put off ordering anything until we hear more. :(

you might consider checking some other threads about them?

Thanks, but I did do a search of the forum before asking. That thread, unfortunatly, contains nothing but conjecture as to what the unit organization might be. I was hoping for something a little more offical before I start spending money.

Nope nothing yet. I personally want to know before committing to buy anything.
