this is part of their anniversary sale for Robotech, last weekend it was the Zentraedi stuff, this weekend its the Earth stuff.

Also, still not as cheap as CSI had it around Black Friday/Christmas, so presumably it's still plenty profitable at this amount.

Not like they're losing money on the boxes or anything, and getting the game into more hands might help push demand up.

But yeah, this is just another sale on the other side of the coin (partially).

They have done these type of theme sales in the past. Its to help generate interest in game lines.

It's the part where they don't have any progress to show on the remainder of the campaign after half a year where things aren't boding well. >.>
